Cast away all the enemies of yesterday
To alleviate all the memories that come our way
There's a better life now you know that I am on your side
To alleviate all the memories that come our way
There's a better life now you know that I am on your side
Oh yeah, the Fenrisulfr boys were never known for their sanity. In fact, it was just the opposite. They were wild devils that had a bit of insanity running through their veins and they purely revealed in it. Tyreese was so much of the same bent, hell, he might as well have been on their own blood. At many times, the younger brother wondered if he wasn't a gift from the ancient gods as compensation for their fallen kin. Or maybe so kind of reincarnation. The gods knew he was definitely crazy enough and there was no one else either he or Wulf would trust with their lives of the life of their sister. Little did the old wise one know but they owned far more to this man than he realized.
So, if he wanted a fight, he'd get a fight. It was the least he could do after all.
Grinning madly, the wolf slammed an arm up and knocked the restraining hand flying. Following that up by a dive forward that landed a hard shoulder in the other mans middle, they went sprawling backwards into a table that shattered with the impact. The fight was on then even as patrons again scrambled out of the way and Brom laughed with pure enjoyment. His eyes danced with inner light even as he took on one of the most bad ass fighter's in history.
It was probably a good thing the other man had already worn off some of his first blasts of energy. Brom, himself, was a hell of a fighter but this man was one of the few that could actually get the upper hand if things went down badly. Most of the time, he was just damned glad he wasn't actually the mean sob's enemy. He was one of those guys that you'd rather have at your back than gunning for your ass and Brom was no fool. He also wasn't as stupid as Kaera and Ty evidently thought.
The skinwalker obviously didn't know it but Brom knew all about his little history with Kaera. His baby sister had pulled into a shell when Banning had died and it hadn't been until Ty had joined their little family that she'd begun to come out. A surprising bond had been forged between the tough as nails gladiator and the broken she wolf. Brom suspected it was because they could commiserate with each other in ways that the brothers couldn't. He'd begun to run interference when they were together so that the older wolf wouldn't ruin a good thing... and he definitely would have ripped into Ty, friend or no friend.
In regards to their baby sister, the Celtic wolf had no sense of humor.
Where Wulf was constantly treating her like a china doll, the younger brother had just been damned glad to see the woman beginning to live again. Besides, he'd figured that they both could use a friend and with their similar backgrounds in loosing their mates... Well, it just made sense that they could help each other. He had been happy to have been proven right even though he'd never let on he was aware of the true nature of the relationship.
Now, he suspected the two had turned that whole ancient history into a friendship that was as strong as the thickest steel. All the better for them both.
Tonight though, Brom knew that Ty was just looking for someone to take out that burning aggravation and he wasn't above pushing his buttons. The man had a hair trigger temper and a low tolerance for anyone stupid enough to rub him the wrong way. Which always invited Brom to poke at his sore spots. Oh yeah, Tyreese might as well been born of their mother because he was treated just like a true brother.
From the corner of his eye, the wolf saw Wulf haul his little woman away from the worst of the fighting and then caught a fist in the mouth. Swearing, he wiped at the blood and glared at Ty.
"Son of a bitch.....I think you just knocked out a tooth!" he swore before launching himself at the man again and knocking them both to the floor in a flurry of punchs and head butts. When they stopped rolling, they were by the bar and he was looking up at a sexy blond woman who seemed to be eying him with the same interest he was her. Grinning wickedly, he gave her a wink and drawled out. "Hello, lass.... where ave you been all my life?"
Unfortunately, before he could get a response, a meaty fist was pulling him up and the combatants were off again.
"scuse me, lass... I need to teach my friend here some manners. Its not polite to interrupt a conversations, ya know." he shouted back before turning his attention back to the fight.
Ty was obviously unaware that he'd just been getting to know the woman and that called for some stern....er... communication. Yeah, communication.. The only sort men like them seemed to under stand.
