“Yeah, baby, you are the scariest man on the planet,” Rae couldn’t help but coo, patting a gloved hand against the soldier’s cheek. The guards had kept a liquor cabinet just for him? She could definitely see that happening…and made a mental note to start scaring the shit out of the soldiers in the compound so they’d start doing the same. She did love her free booze.
Crossing her arms over her chest, she raised a brow as he continued to speak. Damn, she did love a sexy bad ass with no rational sense of fear, she thought with another smirk. The man was obviously scary on a regular basis and hell in bed…oh, she really did hope that he wouldn’t die anytime soon. He was just too much fun for words!
At his question, however, all such thoughts died in her head, as her smile widened to Cheshire Cat territory. He wanted to go out on the town? Poor guy must want a real roll in the sheets, she thought with a mental sigh. But hey, she was a team player, right? She could never leave a man…down.
Smoothing her mussed hair, the soldier nodded toward the hanger exit, a mischevious look on her face. “Sure, I could take you for some booze, sexy,” She purred. “But it’s a rule around here that no Team personnel can leave the compound without the CO’s approval. So you know what that means, don’t you?”
With a cackle, she grabbed his hand before he could change his mind and tugged him toward the exit. Oh, man, this was going to be so much freaking fun! Where would she take him? The Pit? Screamers? That really cool rave thing down in the sewers? Choices, choices!
Grabbing a wrench on her way passed the beloved toolbox- she’d never be able to repair a car without sighing again- she nodded toward a pair of double doors down the hall.
“Think of this as a prison you wanna break out of,” She said, laughter evident in her voice. “I’ve done it before, but since the last time I broke one of the guys’ legs, they’ve upped security around the exits. So, flyboy, let’s see what you’ve got. There are a few guys through those doors, then a security cam and motion detectors near the Jeeps. How about you take out the schmo’s, and I make sure we’re not recorded making out getaway?”
