Outside the quaint little café stood the Amazon Princess, she was regarding the outside thoughtfully. The mortal world had proven so far to be very interesting. She lifted her blue eyes up to look at the sign that was shadowed by the beautiful Magnolia tree. There was lots of life around the place. The name of the little restaurant was even quaint. It was small, but the smell radiating from inside was enough to make her mouth water. She let the pull of the aroma pull her into the little café.
To any who saw her outside the café would think the woman was rather imposing. She stood easily at 6’4”, her long legs making her a rare beauty among the humans. Of course, there were counts of other woman that were as tall as her in this realm or taller, but they were very rare. The average height was far lower than this for a woman. The Amazon women were supposed to pride their height, but Xesa always felt so awkward with it. She felt even more awkward as she stood alongside mortals.
Her intense blue gaze settled on the long counter with red vinyl seats lined on one side. The sounds of whirling ceiling fans caught her attention. She lifted her head to look at the blades as they spun. They were so very interesting, but she needed to act as humanly as possible.
She shifted and headed over to take a seat at the counter. A tendril of light brown mixed with hints of blonde fell over her face as she settled in, looking quizzically about the place. Heeding her uncles advice she wore a pair of blue jeans and a form fitting white top. She had given herself a wardrobe that was fitting for any mortal woman.
Coming to a sitting position on the red vinyl seat, Xesa had to adjust herself. Her long legs bumped awkwardly beneath the counter. She glanced back at one of the tables and thought maybe she should sit there opposed to this uncomfortable position behind the counter. She did not want to spread her legs out to each side and sit like a man. Finally she settled. She crossed one leg over the opposite knee and sat partially sideways.
The wafting smell of something delicious hit her nostrils causing her mouth to water. She chewed on her bottom lip while she waited, not even realizing that humans used menus. She expected it to be a universal plate of food that they served.

Wandering about in the main streets in this early hour forced the seven feet tall figure to undertake some precautions unless he wanted for people to scream and ask him if he was there to take their soul to hell. Bah! What he would do with a used soul anyways?
So there he was, a long overcoat to hide his tail, gloves, a hat to cover his sawed off horns and a scarf that only let a pair of yellow eyes visible.
Now he was on a quest.
He was on the hunt for food and the big guy had quite an appetite. He could track down anyone and bring them to their knees but he couldn’t get his fridge stocked even if his life depended on it.
Bael had an appointment with Coop to discuss some new hunt, but his growling stomach had made him take a detour. He would not invite Coop to join him because his friend had a certain kind of diet…and the bounty hunter was more a cookies kind of demon.
Speaking of witch…
Stopping on his tracks as that sweet aroma reached him, the demon breathed deeply and smiled. This seemed to be the closest a demon could get from heaven.
Stepping inside he took one of the seats by the counter – dammit why no one made big demon sized seats anyways?
“Hey there, those cookies smell great! Mind getting me about four dozen of those and some milk?”
And then he shook his head at the woman behind the counter.
“No, no need to pack them, I’m eating it right now.”
Tapping his fingers against the counter as he waited, Bael started to mutter the lyrics of one of his favorite Elvis song before he heard the bell door and watched a tall blonde woman wander in and she seemed to have as much a hard time of making herself comfortable on the seats as he did.
Giving her a nod, he smiled even if she wouldn’t be able to see it under the scarf. “No one thinks about us giants, huh?”

Shoulder nagging, sling getting in the way, Kayla had managed to get the Cafe open and the food cooked through sheer stubbornness and determination. The sling was supposed to keep her from doing much of anything with her arm till the shoulder healed and the skin knit together...allowing the stitches to set. But that hadn't been the case as she'd slipped it out of the sling when it got bothersome or in the way.
Doing things one handed could be a real pain in the ...well as the case would be...the shoulder at the moment. Sure there were moments that she over did it a little more than she should have, like lifting the heavy bag of flour with both hands when she shouldn't have but none of the stitches popped so it was good.
She'd be full of ache and grumpiness by the time closing came around though.
Her eyes widened a little as she watched the HUGE guy come in and take a seat. It wasn't often you saw that tall of a person but to have them be as broad as they were tall was a bit unnerving as well. Never the less she offered him a smile but almost fell over as he ordered well...ALL the cookies she had made and then wanted to eat them all sitting there.
Eyebrows raised she blinked a few times, missing the entrance of the very tall woman that came to sit beside the man.
Scratching her head with her good arm she looked between them and just smiled. Blind date maybe? It was cute. The woman was pretty and unlike most tall women she'd seen, voluptuous and not the slightest bit gangly or awkward.
"An army's worth of cookies and a cow comin' right up sugar and what can I get you hon? Or do you need another minute to think about it?" Kayla asked Xesa, stealing looks between them.
Reaching under the counter she drew out a tall glass and set it in front of Bael before turning to reach for the gallon jug of milk from the little fridge she stored the creamer in. She had to pour slowly to make sure she didn't slosh it all out over the place and struggled just a bit before recapping the jug and putting it back. A plate was gotten and mix of chocolate chip, peanut butter kiss, and double chocolate chip cookies were taken out of the display case and placed on the plate and set in front of the big guy before she turned to the woman again to wait for her order with a mild, good natured admonishment given to the big man. "You're gonna give yourself a tummy ache with nothin but sweets."

The Amazon had been so preoccupied with the ceiling fans and the darn uncomfortable space for her legs that she hadn’t noticed a rather large man sitting by her. His deep baritone voice grabbed her attention. She tried to swivel in her seat, but her knees bumped aggravatingly against the counter, so she swiveled the seat to bring her around in the opposite direction.
Facing the man now, she smiled that brilliant goddess smile. “They don’t,” she said, wishing she could make out the large man that seemed to be huddled beneath a bunch of clothing. From what she could tell he was far taller than her. She wondered questioningly to herself just how tall he was, but wasn’t sure it would be mortal etiquette to ask a question such as that.
When the woman brought over a plate of cookies and milk for the large man, her mouth watered. She licked her lips quickly. She felt foolish as she stared down at this plate of delicious baked goods, not knowing what they were or how to get them.
When the woman asked her for her order she noticed a strange accent that she had, but Xesa was sure she probably had a strange accent as well. Living with a Greek grandfather gave her that strong foreign dialect. “Can I have some of those things?” She pointed at the huge guys plate. “These round things, right here.” She had to make it very clear what she wanted.
Her stomach growled as the aroma of the cookies hit her nostrils. This was worse than being tortured by her grandfather! She looked incredulously down at her stomach, thinking it was a traitor. She looked at the woman with a perplexed look when she spoke of getting a tummy ache from all the sweets. She brought her blue gaze back onto the huddled up man. “Are you not hot in all that clothing?” She asked, feeling quite warm herself.
Her gaze shifted back onto this woman behind the counter. She was beautiful and petite. There was a warm air about her. She found herself staring rudely at her arm, trying to piece together in her mind the reason why it needed to be bandaged up.
Something hit her after a moment. What was that man hiding? She turned slowly towards the man all huddled up. He looked as big and as strong as some of her grandfather’s soldiers. She waited for the nice woman to turn her back before she leaned towards him and whispered, “You do not fool me. Go back to grandfather before we make a mess of this kind ladies place.”

That smile on his lips widened as the woman poured the plate before him, and army worth of cookies seemed alright. Did everyone expect that all those muscles were easy to maintain? He needed his fair share of protein…heck, he needed an army’s share of protein.
The woman serving him was a small thing but seemed very sweet, it made him uncomfortable to see that she was bandaged up and seemed to be struggle a little to serve him, but if she was anything like he was, she wouldn’t appreciate signs of pity so he kept his mouth shut. And oh look, tall, blonde and cute lady had a bright smile to distract him.
And the smell of those cookies, definitively heaven.
Taking one of them, he pushed it under the scarf covering his face and into his mouth. Oh man, that was the stuff!
“Lady, did you made those? Because if you did I will have to ask you to marry me!”
Raising a brow, he listened to the blonde woman to place her order. Was she freaking kidding him? She didn’t know how to order cookies? Who in the world didn’t know about cookies? That made him a little wary of her. Bael had crossed paths with all kind of sorts in his line of work…but next she was going to tell him she had never heard of Elvis!
But eh, unless she went psycho or someone paid him enough he would have no trouble with her.
A soft laugh came to him when she asked if he wasn’t hot underneath all those clothes. “Red hot babe…red hot.”
Turning his head to the other side, he pulled the scarf down and gulped down some of the milk. All the clothing helped him walk into a place and not make everyone run in panic, but it was a real hassle when he was eating.
Turning back to the blonde when she whispered to him, Bael frowned. “Lady, I have no clue what you’re talking about. I don’t know who your grandfather is and frankly I don’t care, I’m only here for the milk and cookies. Now unless you want to hire me or give me your phone number, just relax and have one on me.”
Sliding her one his cookies, he kept on the task of devouring an army worth of baked goodness.

A small chuckle left Kayla's lips as she hard the growl of Xesa's stomach and her smile widened at the ordering of the cookies. With that accent maybe she just didn't know the word in English for them, the little woman assumed as she nodded and winked to her.
A model? Well she was tall enough, and pretty enough. But the request for cookies seemed a little strange for a model. Those types of gals usually ordered salads. Blech...how boring. The fact that she wanted something better raised the Cafe owner's opinion of her considerably.
"Why sure you can hon. That is if the big guy here don't mind waitin a bit. I can give ya the rest of what's mad and then just pop some more in the oven." Even as she spoke she was grabbing the plate and loading it up with more of the cookies. Crispy on the outside and soft and chewy in the middle, the cookies were definitely delicious.
Another healthy laugh came from her as the man spoke through his scarf and issued that compliment that tickled her so. "Well lordy be! I always heard the quickest way to a man's heart is through his stomach but I never thought it was trued. Aint you just a sweetie? But but I'm afraid my heart's spoken for already if not my hand." She patted his gloved hand before she got out another glass of milk for the woman. She hadn't asked for it but cookies needed milk...or coffee and on a hot day icy cold milk just seemed the way to go.
She chattered as she repeated the pouring process and putting things away. "Now if y'all get hungry for somthin other'n sweets you let me know. I got a big ole pot of chicken and dumplins on the stove or pork chops in the back I can whip up if ya want a meal. Collared greens, mashed potatoes, sweet baby carrots, and fried okra too."
Resting one hand on her hip with her good arm she looked at the two as she spoke, her eyes having already flitted over the cafe to check on the other patron to see if they needed anything. It was this reason she got out of bed and dragged her butt down here, to see the smiles and the comradarie that food seemed to bring out in folks. It helped balance out the ugliness in the world and the pain. And it was so totally worth it. "Now if y'all will excuse me a minute or two I'll go slip those cookies in the oven to bake so's they're ready when you're done with these. You need anything you just give a holler and I'll hear ya back there."
With one last smile to the pair she made herself scarce as she walked back to the swinging door that lead to the back part of the kitchens not even realizing she was humming the Elvis song that Bael had been humming.

“Red hot?” Xesa frowned considerably, not understanding what he was trying to say. “If you are so hot you should take your outer layers off.”
She was very cautious about this big guy. “Milk and cookies?” She cast a questioning glance down at the cookie he had pushed towards her, being very hesitant about taking it. So that’s what they were called. After a moment of watching the man she decided he must not be one of Ares men. If he had been he wouldn’t have hesitated nor would he have felt the need to hide.
She picked up the cookie and took one bite, which melted in her mouth. She made a noise before shoving the rest in her mouth. Her eyes went a little wide with disbelief. These were the best things she had ever eaten before.
The sweet woman put a plate of those warm cookies in front of her along with a glass of milk. She picked up the glass and took a hearty swig, which was heaven on her taste buds. It went perfectly with the taste of cookies on her tongue.
She gave a small glance up at the woman as she went on about other food that she had never even heard of, but Xesa was in love with these warm, sweet treats in front of her. “I’ll wait for more of these!” She piped up before the woman wandered off.
After stuffing her face with a few cookies, she looked back over at the man. “You look as big as my grandfather’s men. They are very strong and robust. I bet you could easily harm them,” as she said it an idea crossed her face. “I don’t know what a phone number is, but I know about hiring. What do you do? Are you a guard? I could use a guard,” she told him.
Turning back towards her plate, she grabbed the glass of milk and took a sip. There was a sound outside the door that caught her attention. She turned her head towards the direction of the door before it even opened. In strolled a big man, about the size of Bael, except he looked something like a Greek statue. He was tanned, muscled, and had sandy blonde hair to his shoulders. He was carrying a sword and shield. His cold stare fell on Xesa.
“That’s what I get for talking of my grandfather,” she grumbled to Bael before standing. She reached down and grabbed another cookie to munch on. She shoved it into her mouth and dusted her hands off. “One? That’s all? Surely he isn’t that foolish.”
She spoke too soon. Behind the Greek warrior strolled in a handful more. “That’s more like it. He sent me a handful of pansies, how thoughtful.”
Taking a step towards them, she smiled viciously, “Let’s take this outside. I don’t want to ruin this nice woman’s place,” she told them, but it only seemed to piss them off, so they decided to charge. She lifted a long leg up. Every muscle in her body tensed up as she slammed it against one warrior’s chest and sent him back out the door he just came in.

Where from did miss tall, curvaceous and clueless come from? No cookies or phone? Had she been hiding under a rock or something? He’d guess her to be a fae by her behavior, one that had never crossed into this realm before, but they weren’t usually as tall as her. But he decided against playing twenty questions with her right then because she would probably ask questions back to him.
Smirking as he saw her take the cookie, he remembered his own reaction when he crossed over from hell and tried his first cookie. It was round, smelled funny and had a weird color for him, but God gracious, he had never had chocolate before.
Raising a brow when she spoke, he momentarily stopped shoving cookies on his mouth. “Your grandfather’s men? All strong and robust? Lady, I’m not into this kind of kinky.”
Shaking his head he took another gulp of the milk.
“I’m not a guard, I’m a bounty hunter, the best in the business. You need someone found and brought to his knees, I’m your guy. But I don’t do charity, my price toll may be high but I’m worth it.”
His head turned as the door bell chimed and saw the toga boys entering the coffee shop. Great, those godly dudes, it would be his next guess. Bael was no stranger to those types, there were gods in the council of immortals.
Now there were two main reasons he wouldn’t get involved in this, first he hadn’t gotten paid to do anything, and second the blonde seemed capable to handle her own as she raised one – long and well toned – leg and send one of them back the way they came. But when of the idiots bumped on him and caused him to drop his glass of milk to shatter on the floor.
“Ok, now I’m mad!” he grumbled and rose from his seat. Grabbing the soldier’s wrist as he raised his sword at the woman, Bael made a no-no motion with his hand and let his big fist rip at his face sending him flying out the door.
“There will be no trashing of a place with cookies like these!”

Xesa had just turned when she saw the glint of sword. She ducked to miss it when the huge guys hand came out and grabbed the warrior’s wrist. His deep grumble had her looking up at him. He could be of use. This one was tough. She followed the straight line of his arm and watched him punch the warrior out the door. “I am impressed!” A huge smile crossed her face.
She noticed that there were four left, but only three accounted for. When she turned she found one had come up behind the huge guy. “Watch out!” She pushed against Bael’s arm and threw a fist at the warrior that was lunging towards the huge guy. Her fist slammed against his face and sent him sprawling against the counter. The cookies they had both been eating scattered all over the floor as the man stumbled back. “Look at what you’ve done!”
She grabbed the warrior by the hair and tossed him at the other three, but they moved easily out of the way.
“Hey, how much you charge?” She turned towards the huge guy and asked. She gave him a quick look over. He could be of use to her.
Out of the corner of her eye she saw one warrior dive towards Bael to cause a momentary distraction. Her eyes went wide and she turned to see the other two go at her.
The two warriors slammed her to the ground with an oomph. “You don’t want me to summon my sword! I’ll fucking kill you all!” Now she was getting really angry.
They grabbed each of her arms, grappling roughly with her. She managed to land a couple of nasty punches when one finally managed to slap some ancient looking hackles around her wrists. “Now, now, boys, there’s enough of me to go around.”
One warrior spoke in an angry voice. “Ares wants to see you now!”
She cringed, not wanting to see him at all. She knew what would be waiting for her if they took her back. “Tell him I’ll get back to him when I have some free time.” She laughed nervously as one yanked the chain, making it hard for her to stand. They didn’t care if she stood or not as they pulled her to the exit.
She knew talking to them would be futile, but she couldn’t say they weren’t warned. Oh yeah, like being shackled will let her get anywhere far. “What has he been feeding you guys or is it the beatings? I could see how that would make you immune to pain.”
When a portal opened up for them that was when she got really worried. “Could I grab some more cookies before you take me to my death?”
Her feet pressed awkwardly against the floor giving the men a lot of resistance while her arms pulled them back. The muscles in her arms tensing up as she growled.

A sly grin covered his lips as she revealed she found his move impressive, she wouldn’t able to see it under the scarf, but it was there. Nothing like impressing a hot girl to make a demon mood improve…until some idiot knocked all of the cookies into the floor. Then it went downhill.
With an unhappy ‘I’m going to kill you’ look on his face, Bael turned his head to the idiot that had knocked his sweets and before he knew it, those bastards had the blonde chained down and a sword against his neck. Looks like they won, right? That’s right, keep watching his hands while his tail sneakily wrapped on your leg and made you fall into the floor with a loud thud, toga boy.
Reaching forward against the ones that had that held the woman in chains, he grabbed then from the back of their necks and raised them from the ground as they were weightless.
“This isn’t the way to treat a foxy lady guys, besides this is a family place, chains and kinky stuff not allowed.”
Stealing a glance at the blonde woman, he raised a brow. “Excuse me while I take out the trash. And this time it’s on the house.”
Knelling, he smashed the warriors faces into the ground. As he did it, one of the struggling morons got hold of his hat and pulled it away, the scarf fell along for the floor revealing his face in all its red demonic glory.
Already Bael could hear the screams of ‘Ah, it is a demon!’ and ‘We’re going to hell!’ before more than one of the café patrons took off in a mad run through the door.
“Yeah great! Toga guys show up and nothing, I just show my mug around and it is all run for the hills?”
There was this annoyed glare on his face, no love for big, red and horny – that meant the horns of course.

Xesa did not have the luxury to see the huge guy drop the man with a sneaky tail. Though, she wouldn’t have even thought to look down and see a tail.
At the moment, she was too worried about getting dragged through the portal. Once she was through it that would be it. There would be no coming back. She would be on her knees before Ares.
Her legs and arms burned in protest as she tugged against these men. She was doing a fairly good job keeping them from dragging her through the portal. They were grunting and hauling like they were trying to get a cow to move.
Then, the pulling stopped. All the tension in her legs and arms eased completely away. She brought her head up to where the men dangled by the huge guys hands. Her mouth fell open. She had never seen such impressive strength, not even with Ares.
“I think I am in love,” she spoke, watching this man’s impressive strength.
He knelt and slammed the warriors’ faces into the ground. Then she saw the huge guy in all of his glory when one of the warriors got a hold of his hat and pulled it away, which inevitably caused the scarf to fall away.
“You are--” Her eyes went wide. He was a demon. Strangely, she was not scared of him, at all. The man she sat next to devouring cookies with seemed kind and gentle for a beast.
Her blue eyes turned towards the mortals screaming and running. He had just saved her, as well as keeping those men from harming them. “YES! RUN!” She yelled loud and boisterously at the humans. Her voice boomed, much like the voice of a goddess. It made them all scurry out the door even more quickly.
She came up next to the big bloke and slid her hands over his arm, feeling bad for how they had treated him. She followed the line down to his huge hand. Her chains scraped against it, until her hands fell away and she lifted her shackled hands up towards him. “Would you do me the honors?”
Despite the horns and red skin, she thought he was handsome. “My name is Xesa. I am an Amazon Princess...was an Amazon Princess.”

BAH! What he should expect when these humans saw his mug? Compliment him on his lobster tan? A demon could only wish. But he shrugged it off, he was used to such reaction and mostly ignored them. So getting up to his feet, he tossed the soldiers in his hands through their portal. A good well placed kick on the one he had just put down with his tail had him flying through the portal as well.
“He shoots, he scores. And the crowd goes wild!”
What Bael wasn’t expecting was that the goddess wasn’t looking at him with any sign of fear nor disgust. Most of these godly types were so stuck up, all that they could see was the demon in him and the ass kicking he would deliver if they acted stupid.
But this one, she was different. No, it wasn’t because she was hot, well not only that anyways, it was the fact that she didn’t have that look in her eyes.
Taking her hand in his, Bael snapped open the shackles. This wasn’t a fitting look for her, the chains didn’t work right with that snuggly jeans and sexy top. All that he believed was lacking on her was a little red.
“Princess, huh? And I’m Bael, bounty hunter, ass kicker extraordinaire and the best looking red guy in this side of town.”
A smile crept on his lips as he eyed her blue eyes. “So you always have toga boys after you or you were just trying to catch my attention? Because,” he lowered his voice to a whisper, “your legs look way hotter than theirs.”

The Amazon raised one finely shaped eyebrow as Bael kicked the warriors back through the portal. A smile spread across her face. She liked this guy. He had an easy, comical side to him. She liked that far better than what she dealt with around her grandfather. He was always so tense and wanting to see bloodshed. He didn’t care whose it was. Many of times it had been her own. She still had some fine scars on her back from the whippings. Of course, he had always healed her just to have her beaten again, but there had been many of times he had sent her away to suffer the lashing.
“I like a man that can fend for him self,” she told him as her hand rested gently in his. He snapped the shackles open with ease. She hated those darn things. “My grandfather was always into shackling people up and beating them to a pulp,” she rubbed her wrists as she said it.
“Yes, Princess, but now that I’ve abandoned Ares and many other Gods, I am sure I have lost that rightful title,” she told him.
Her lips lifted into another smile as he spoke of being the best looking red guy this side of town. She couldn’t help but tease him. “I think you are the only red guy this side of town, but,” she added with a shrug, “I guess you could be the best looking red guy I’ve seen this side of town.” She teased him.
His remark had her put on a serious expression as she sidled closer to him. The words she spoke next came out softly, barely audible, “I was just hoping to grab your attention.” A smirk was on her lips as she leaned down to grab his hat and scarf near his feet. Her eyes traveled over his legs and upwards until they landed on his face. She brought the items up to place them into his hands. “From down there I saw some things I liked on you as well,” she laughed and moved back to the counter.
“I should clean this mess before the kind woman comes back out to see what they’ve done.” She was genuinely worried that the woman might have a heart attack. She crouched down to pick up the plate and all the cookies scattered on the floor. “I shall try to pay for damages, if any are needed.”

“Oh, granddaddy is into big guys in togas and some freaky bondage kinky huh? The dirty old man! I always knew the gods had a freaky side.”
A sarcastic smirk came into his features as he gazed the blonde. All the gods stuck up, holier than thou attitude had never fooled him, in truth some were alright but most of those guys…like Demios, ‘the god of terror’. The only terrifying thing about that guy as far as he was concerned was his fashion sense.
But that smirk faded as Xesa kept speaking. Was she flirting with him? Yeah, she definitively was. That was certainly new, gods usually didn’t mix with demons…especially the ones with red skin, horns and a tail. BAH! Those types didn’t know what sexy was, but she did…and she was not so bad herself. Still, a princess? Go him! He was definitively going up in life.
Taking his hat back, he placed it back on his head, but tucked the scarf into his overcoat’s pocket. Hey, if she liked what she saw, he wouldn’t deprive her of the pleasure right?
And well, he’d better stop leering at her as she leaned down to pick up those cookies. Someone might think he was horny…and this time it didn’t mean his horns. Well, maybe just a second more, done? Shush, you stupid brain, just a second more.
When she looked back at him, he gave her an embarrassed look. “Uh, hey how about we get out of here, go to my place and ask for a pizza? We could chat unconcerned that some of the idiots that run out don’t come back with the army or something.”

Xesa laughed at Bael’s comments about her grandfather. “Something like that, except he likes a lot of blood.” She wasn’t sure how she could explain just how much blood. “He likes blood so much that he bathes in it.”
After picking up all the cookies and looking back, she smiled at the demon’s embarrassed look. She wasn’t oblivious to him staring at her backside, and she realized she liked that he had been looking. Her eyes darted back to the plate of cookies. “Those went to waste, sadly.”
She dusted off the cookie crumbs in the palm of her hand and stepped up close to Bael. He was asking her questions and her eyebrows shot up. “What is pizza..?” It was nothing she had heard of before. “Is it as delicious as these cookies?” She asked curiously, because if it was she was all for having pizza.
Oh, she had forgotten to answer his other question. The mention of food had her spacing out. She was falling in love with human food. “I think that’s a great idea. Let’s get out of here, go to your place, and let you feed me this pizza,” she said teasingly.
Yes, it was quite obvious she was flirting with the beg red guy. Demon or not, he was a big hunk of all man, but that wasn’t the only thing catching her attention. He had a funny side to him, which most demons didn’t possess. She really liked it. And she was hoping to find a little bit more about him, which is why she liked the idea of going back to his place. There they could act themselves and not worry about mortals.
She had already forgotten about the boys in toga outfits. Though, she would have loved to be a fly on the wall when they showed up at Ares feet, explaining how it was they didn’t return with her.
“You lead the way,” she gestured towards the exit.
