"I don't know...", he says simply, feeling her starting to weaken, "Of course...should I bring you somewhere?", he asks, hoping she might answer before losing consciousness.
As she began to fall asleep, he held her up at first, before slowly moving to just sit, letting her lay on top him, being cradled somewhat as he sighed a bit, glancing upwards and starting to lightly stroke the fae girl's hair.
It was a bit odd for him, feeling the breath of the girl, holding her, considering the array of emotions that had been passed through that whole night. Plus, they were merely sitting in an alley...he wasn't sur ehow good of an idea that way, either.

Inara continued to sleep in Eric's arms, a safe feeling invading her dreams. For once she didn't dream of being chased but rather, of being protected. Her dream wasn't so much a visual journey but more an array of emotions that left Inara breathless.
A few minutes into her rest Inara's dreams turned from emotions to a visual journey. She was flying over the clouds, suddenly swimming in the dark of the ocean then walking along a forest path, all the while being followed by a shadow. Then she found herself at the top of a mountain, the wind wailing around her.
The shadow asked her name and she answered out loud. "Inara." The shadow disappeared as she asked it's name, leaving her alone in the cold snow. She spun, trying to find where she was but all she could see was white. Inara started getting very cold, the snow from her dream sapping away her warmth.

Eryle finds it difficult to get to sleep. He'd slept just the night before, and really didn't need more than a few hours of sleep every few days, himself. He could sense the cold coming from her, and his mind opened a bit, sensing the energy coming from her dreams...
She definitely had been affected by all of this too. The demonic energy his spells carried....mixing with her own magic. Couldn't be good for a night's sleep. He did his best to keep her warm, rubbing her arms lightly and waiting patiently for however long she remained asleep, keeping her safe and making sure nobody came too close to the two of them

Inara woke up close to dawn, her eyes opening slowly and closing again quickly. "Eric?" she asked in a whisper, opening her eyes again slowly. "Are we still in the alleyway?" she shifted slightly, her shoulders and knees cracking loudly. She stretched her back slightly and tiny cracks were emitted as her vertebrae shifted.
She clenched and unclenched her hands, cracking coming from her knuckles and her wrists. "Sorry." she muttered. "My joints do it everytime I sleep. It's like they freeze into place." she rubbed her arms slightly and covered her mouth as she yawned. "You didn't have to stay the whole night. You could have just left me here."

As dawn apparoached, Eryle very carefully moved the two of them deeper into the alleyway, so they were still in the supernaturally deepened, but faltering, shadows hecast by the buildings and enhanced by his nature. He wasn't a vampire, no, and beign in the sunlight didn't do him any direct harm, but the sun more than anything else put a dampen on his magic and weakened him somewhat in its rays. And worse, he couldn't instantly transform into his demonic form when in the light, and thus was more susceptible to being killed in his mortal one if he didn't have time to focus himself.
He looked down at Inara as she woke up, smiling to her, "Yes, you didn't answer me in time when I asked if there was anywhere else you needed or wanted to be", he says, stroking her hair idley as they talk.
"It's fine. And I could have, yes, butI couldn't allow myself to let a pretty girl be left alone in an alleyway, especially with how cold you started feeling", he explains to her, "Are you feeling better, at any rate? You really seemed quite drained...", he asks.
