I could be wilder than the wind,
One hundred & nineteen miles an hour,
I'm in a whole other dimension,
Dancing doubles on the floor,
You think I'm crazy,
A little bit hazy,
But I'm stone cold sober!!!
The sun was beating down on a brand new day and most of these sorts of days all Karlieann wanted to do was hide away. She woke up most mornings with little people doing the cha-cha in her head and a distinct hatred for sunlight. The evil effects of an alcohol fuelled night! But for once Karlie had behaved herself the night before and woke up with an urge to get out and enjoy the world that she had spent many a day hiding away from. For once Karlie didnt have to make a huge effort to leave the house, she just threw on something comfortable and threw her bag over her shoulder.
Walking had been nice. The only downside was when she was walking and a stupid bird decided fly down by her feet causing her to detour right into what appeared to be a park. It was nice. The smell of freshly cut grass filled her senses and made Karlie even more excited to explore this place. The place was quite beautiful. Karlie had never been one that was in touch with nature but she did adore the beauty of it.. Looking around Karlie must have looked a bit crazy, twirling, her long blonde locks following her moments later as she looked around the room in amazement.
Karlie came a bench and her body slightly fell into it and her bag seemed to slip effortlessly off her shoulder. Her hand develed into her bag and pulled out a black hardback note book. The book had pages sticking out all over the place where pages had either fallen out or sheets of paper had been kept in there for safe keeping. Despite the fact she never actually went to school and the fact seemed bizarre to everyone she knew, Karlie always kept a pencil case in her bag. In fairness this bag was disguised as make up bag.
Grabbing the bag out and opening it up , Karlie then pulled the note book open and there was a wad of plain paper sat on the top. Karlie pulled out a pencil and started to sketch. The sketch was clearly inspired by the park she was in but took an entirely different form. A 3 tier plan for the perfect nature inspired cake with vines climbing all three tiers and images of butterflies landing upon it and flowers dotted around. It was a strange hobby but one Karlie induldged as much as she could. The notebook was filled with pages of cake designs, song lyrics and dresses. They were a peculiar mix but Karlie had a bit of a flare for all three.
The book in Karlie's hands was old. She'd had it since before her mother died three and half years ago. There were very few pages still bound into it so as an unexpected gust of wind came whipping past the wind seemed to pick some of them up and send them flying through the park. She shut the book quickly, placing her bag on top of it to keep it down before chasing pages across the park, crouching to grab pieces of paper before moving to the next one, barely noticing anything else around her. Not even the person that, as she spun around on her top toes, her head collided with their legs. Rubbing her head and muttering an "owww!!" Karlie looked up at the person she'd just gone into. "I'm so sorry!"
