You want me to come over I've got an excuse Might be holding your hand but I'm holding it loose Go to talk then we choke its like our necks in a noose Avoid the obvious we should be facing the truth Start to think it could be fizzling out Kinda shocked because I never really had any doubts Look into your eyes imagine life with out ya And the love kickstarts again!!
It was Saturday night and that meant only one thing... parrrrtyyy! Karlie had been texting a friend of hers, Abby. See Abby and Karlie met in a strip joint one night. Peculiar meeting place for two females yes, but Abby was working in the place at the time and Karlie had signed up for ammeter night. She may have only been seventeen at the time but that isn't what her fake ID said. Some guy got gropey, Abby got punchy, her boss got stressy and Karlie totally owed her a drink. It all started there. They had a perfect basis for a friendship. They were quite similar when they had a few drinks in them and though Karlie wouldn't call them best friends or anything of the sort, when they were in the same town they'd try and get together!
So anyway, Karlie had been texting Abby and the pair of them had been in New Orleans at the same time. Karlieann was majorly taking advantage of the situation she was in. She knew her dad was looking for her so every now and then she'd use her dads card to book herself into a place before skipping off before her dad could even get there. After everything he put her through he owed her right? Besides... he could spare the cash. Tonight Karlie had booked herself in to the honeymoon suite. She'd told Abby to meet her there, there was a mini bar and room service card to abuse before and after heading out.
Karlie had already showered considering how often, or not so really, she got to step into a shower this luxurious so took advantage. She could have happily stayed there forever. Despite the fact Karlie was a total girly girl on a night out, she'd got used to getting ready quickly over the years. She's straightened her hair and pulled a little baby blue number on that offset her tanned body and and blonde locks perfectly. Her MacBook was plugged into her speakers as the petite little thing danced around her room and waited to hear that knock on the door, answering it with a bottle of fizz in her hand and the sound of music playing all the way out the door. "You're just in time.. The party was about to start without you!"

Abby had just finished her shift at the Wolf’s Den when her phone started beeping like crazy. There were few people that had her number. She could actually count the number on one hand. The people that did have her number, however were people that she sort of liked. That could range anywhere from being a booty call, to someone she didn’t mind partying with.
When she saw Karlie’s name pop up she smiled. The girl was wild, a bit mental, but definitely wild. There was no way you’d have a bad time when going out with Karlie, so when she mentioned a night out on the town, there was no way that Abby could refuse. In truth, Abby hadn’t even known Karlie was in New Orleans, but somehow Karlie knew Abby was. Maybe it was a wild guess, but it worked.
She texted Karlie back, getting an address to where she was and headed out. Her old modeled Chevy truck grumbled when it started up, but the fact was, it started up and she headed out to the upscale place that Karlie was staying at.
When she arrived the place smelled of money. It was elaborately decorated, and the staff were all wearing high class suits. Abby rolled her eyes and headed for the elevator, shocked when there was someone standing in there just to press the buttons. He eyed her up and down like she was not good enough to be here, which didn’t really bother her.
She told him which floor, and he nodded accomadating her request. As the elevator went up he kept staring at her. Well not Abby exactly. More like the scar that stood out on her shoulder from where the skinwalker had clawed her all those years ago. Smiling she moved closer to him. He quickly averted his eyes. Leaning in she asked, “Like what you see?”
He shifted uncomfortably, and kept his eyes on the digital number as they passed each floor. She sidled closer, so her lips reached his hear. “You know you’re kind of cute. I’m a stripper you know. You ever been to a strip joint?”
He didn’t answer, but his face lost all it’s color. Abby snickered and moved away. She just felt like making him uncomfortable since he had been trying to do that to her. She’d learned a long time ago to turn the tables when idiots like him got in her face.
The elevator dinged and the doors opened. The man was all too happy to see Abby walk out the doors. Before they closed though, she turned and blew him a kiss. The horrified look on his face was priceless. Abby laughed and went to Karlie’s room. When the petite blonde opened the door she was all smiles and already talking about parties. That was Karlie though.
Abby rolled her eyes. “Please, everyone knows the party doesn’t start till Karlie gets there!”

Karlie couldn't express the glee the exploded through her body seeing the pretty brunette gracing her doorway. Well I say her door way, I of course meant the hotels that her daddy was very kindly paying for tonight. Abby's words made Karlie giggle, her shiny whites glowly through her grin as the giggle subsided. She moved away from the door, giving Abby more than enough room to get past, her giggle echoing a "Come iinnnn! Come iiiiiiiinnnnnnnn!" She said, waiting for abby to cross the threshold before shutting the door and running into the room, clambering onto the bed and standing upon it unsteadily. "The mini bar is not so mini and it's fully stocked! Pick your poison Missy!"
Karlie was getting clearly off her rocker but anyone that knew Karlie knew that was just her! She was stood on the bed "Its the same old you the same old me. You get bored and I get cold feet. Get high get wandering eyes forget ive never ever had it so sweet. I realise what I got when Im out of town 'cos deep down youre my girl in a golden crown. My princess and I dont wanna let you down. No I Dont wanna let you down!!" Karlie attempting to rap whilst jumping up and down on the bed which was bigger than some apartments was pretty hilarious to some. Wasn't going to get her on America's got Talent any time soon but it was pretty dang impressive!
The petite blonde continued to sing along to the song until the words 'AND THE LOVE KICK STARTS AGAIN' in which Karlie tried to scissor kick her legs up in the air. She had years of cheerleading and gymnastics behind her but the clutzy little thing still managed to lose the bottle of champagne she had to the bed before her body joined it with a crash. Laughter filled the room as she rolled off, her feet barely touching the floor before Karlie ran to a mirror, examining the back of her dress. "Oh no I'm soaked!!!" She said, looking to Abby and trying to pout while her face obviously just wanted to laugh.

Abby stood just in the doorway, laughing at the rambunctious girl. She and Karlie had only hung out a handful of times since they met. If one was just another state over they didn’t have a problem making the drive, because they knew it would be a good time. They would also wind up probably going to jail at some point during that good time.
Though Abby wasn't prone to long term friendships or relationships at all, she liked hanging out with Karlie. The girl was insane. There was always a surprise, always something exciting going on when Karlie was around. She was the type of girl Abby felt the need to look out for, but nothing they did was serious. It was all in good fun, which was why Karlie was one of the few to have her number.
There were no commitments, no plans, just living in the moment, which Abby was good at. When Karlie dropped the bottle and gotten her outfit ruined, Abby couldn’t help but laugh harder.
“Hey, you should have known better to jump on the bed with a bottle of champagne! You’re lucky it didn’t break. You could have gotten glass embedded into your back.”
It wasn’t likely, and even if she had, Abby would have just taken her to the hospital. She wasn’t wasting a night by healing someone if it could be avoided. Well maybe she would, but more than likely Karlie would have had to have gotten a few stitches.
Going over to the bar, Abby grabbed the teeny, tiny bottles of whiskey out of the mini bar and poured herself A drink. Fancy hotels like this weren’t big on whiskey, but there were three more bottles of chilled champagne sitting there. She figured they could go down to the bar and get whatever they wanted, but she also knew that Karlie wouldn’t have texted Abby unless she had something else in mind.
“So then,” Abby asked her sipping from the glass she’d poured three mini bottles in. “What’s on the itinerary for tonight?”

Abigail's comments about knowing better than jumping on the bed with a bottle of champagne caused Karlie to just shoot a pout her way. Karlie knew she wasn't going to get the reaction from Abby that she'd get from someone like her father or a guy who would be instantly melted by the pout on her pretty little face. Abby had continued to tell her it could have broken and she could have got it in her back. Karlie looked at the bottle and the bed. "I dont know the bed's not enough for the glass to break, if anything broke it it'd be me landing on it and I've never broken a bottle before!" Karlie pointed out all matter of fact, giggling before adding. "But thanks for worrying MOM!"
Karlie had moved the bottle off the bed. The fizzing liquid was still flowing out of the bottle onto the soft sheets and Karlie knew there was no way she'd be able to sleep on them. She hastily threw them off the bed, crawling across it and grabbing the phone, picking it up and dialing as Abby asked her what was on the itinerary. "I have us on the guest list of a new place. I met the guy that owns it last night and he's pretty keen for us to have whatever we want on him!" Karlie giggled before someone picked up on the other end of the phone. "Hi I'm in the honeymoon suite and there's been a little accident.. We're going to need some new sheets... Thank you!" As the phone clicked back onto the holder Karlie turned back to Abby. "If it's rubbish we can just see where our little legs take us!" And with that, Karlie's little legs headed over to the closet to pick something new to wear.
Slipping off her dress, Karlie grabbed a little black number off the hanger. She still had a nude Christian Louboutin shoes that were to go with her blue dress attached to her feet and actually began to be amazed she hadn't broken her heel or her ankle in bouncing upon the bed. Karlie had been about to pull the dress on when she heard the door. Instead she ran towards her bag grabbing that and another of the cooling bottles of champagne, running to the door. "QUICK!" Karlie knew if she stayed in the room she'd probably be in trouble for the state of it.
As she pulled the door open, stood there in her underwear with a dress draped over her arm and her little nude clutch and her bottle in the hand of the other. She must have been a sight for the poor guy on the other side, she could tell by the fact his jaw nearly touched the floor. She muttered a "The stuffs on the floor... Have fun!" Before pushing past him and pressing the button for the elevator. Karlie really was crazy! Being around her you had no need for drugs because she was like one. She had the excitement, the fear factor and definitely the paranoia.
Karlie didn't know Abby had already had an incident with the guy in the elevator but his face when he saw her stood before the door filled with fear and that was only heightened when he spotted Karlie there scantiliy clad. As she stepped into the elevator she fluttered her eyelashes at him. "Be a dear...?" She muttered as she held her bottle and purse out to him. He seemed to take the items outta sheer shock and Karlie pulled a dress on finally. She then turned to Abby as she took her stuff off him. "Sorry about that..."

Abby just laughed. What else could she do? She didn’t embarrass all the easy, which was why she found it insanely hilarious that the poor elevator guy was now dealing with two of them. The maid wasn’t going to be happy about cleaning up the mess, but Karlie hadn’t broken anything yet, and they’d probably just put it off to a drunken mishap.
By the look of the hotel Abby figured they had seriously famous people in there every so often and she had no doubt that when they partied things were broken. The spill on the bed would probably just draw a sigh from their lips and they’d get to work, grateful there wasn’t busted up furniture everywhere.
She waved off Karlie’s apology. “Right, because that’s gonna be the thing you need to apologize for when the night is over. She winked at Karlie.
The girl was trouble, there was no doubt about it, but Abby didn’t mind a little trouble every now and then. After all what kind of fun were they going to have if they didn’t get into just a little bit of mischief? Abby just hoped that she didn’t wind up waking up in a jail cell with no memory of the night before. That had happened once or twice in the past.
When they reached the ground floor and the doors dinged open, the elevator man gave a sigh of relief. Abby stepped out and turned back to him, blowing a small kiss and giving him a wink before laughing and heading through the lobby.
Knowing that they were going to be completely sloshed before the night was over Abby turned towards Karlie. “We are calling a cab right?”

You want me to come over I've got an excuse Might be holding your hand but I'm holding it loose Go to talk then we choke its like our necks in a noose Avoid the obvious we should be facing the truth Start to think it could be fizzling out Kinda shocked because I never really had any doubts Look into your eyes imagine life with out ya And the love kickstarts again!!Karlie could totally have made it as a rockstar, she'd be very good at being a demanding diva and she could definitely trash a hotel room. She hadn't quite thrown a tv out of the window yet but she was still only young. Hell the night was young... Who knows what could happen later on. Karlie had apologised and Abby had laughed and basically hinted that she'd have more to be sorry for later on. "Har-dee-har! You're funny Abigail!" She said, sticking out her tongue. "I'm not THAT bad!" Karlie even resorted to scrunching up her face because even she didn't know that was the truth and she found it quite funny!!
As the elevator reached the ground floor, Karlie ruffled the guys hair and skipped out. Literally skipped out. As she saw Abby blow him and kiss and wink at him, she could not stop laughing. "Poor guy..!" Her body felt a gust of heat as she left the hotel, it was like the air con was set to Antarctic or something... Hell maybe they had a snowboarding competition in there tonight or something. She pulled the foil stuff from around the top of the champagne bottle, twisting the metal top off and popping the cork. Waiting for it to settle, Karlie took a mouthful out of the bottle before turning to Abby. She asked if they were getting a cab. The liquid tickled her throat on the way down and she hiccuped before speaking. "No need.. It's like a minutes walk!" She said before offering out the bottle and walking towards down the street.
"So..." Karlie started to talk as she pulled her fingers through her hair to fix it. "What have you been up to chicka? It's been a little while since we caught up?" Karlie and Abby didn't really talk personal details. Neither of them were big talkers, especially about their pasts. Karlie knew she herself had a big complicated past and that was why she didn't mention it, so she never pushed anyone to find out theirs. Continuing down the street, Karlie and Abby reached a flashy new place with cues all the way down the street. Karlie stopped and made sure the champagne was finished, throwing the bottle into a nearby trash can and headed towards the bouncer. She noticed his eyes widen and he looked over the two girls before asking her name. "Tallulah Ryan!" She said before the guy looked through the list and then moved to let them past.
Karlie had grabbed Abby gently by the hand as she walked through the crowds of people. The place was packed out but Karlie had seen these places before. They were good while they were popular and then after a week or so it'd be dead and it would NOT be long until there was an all new club in its place. Walking straight up to the bar and found a spare spot, turning on her side to view Abby. "Well this is going to take a while.."

Abby smirked at Karlie’s hiccup. The girl was adorable, full of herself, and pretty much thought that the rules didn’t apply to her. Well maybe Karlie knew the rules applied to her and she just had too much fun breaking them. Either way Abby shrugged it off and began walking with Karlie to wherever it was they were going.
“Not a whole lot,” Abby said in reply to her. “Just driving around, seeing the sites.”
When they came across a long ass line Abby wasn’t really surprised that they were bypassing it and heading straight for the front of it. Karlie sort of had that effect when you went out with her. Her name was always on the list, and there was never anything that cost too much. Karlie was a party girl through and through. Which is exactly why Abby liked going out with her.
When the bouncer let them through there were calls from the line where people had been waiting for quite a long time about special treatment and how it wasn’t fair. Abby ignored it and went into the club behind Karlie. They made a beeline for the bar and settled into a small space between several other patrons trying to order drinks.
The only thing Abby could see that was maybe going to take a while was ordering their drinks, but usually they were pretty on the ball even when there were a crap load of people around.
“By the way,” She told Karlie while they were waiting. “Don’t call me Abigail. I might feel inclined to call you Tallulah does the hula if you continue down that road.” She winked at her friend.
The bartender was a hot hunk of a man with dark hair that fell into his dark eyes. He was wearing a bit of eyeliner to accentuate the look and a smile spread across his lips as he made his way to them.
“What can I get you ladies?”
Abby turned towards him, pulling her shoulders back so her chest stuck out more. He wasn’t really her type, but she also knew that flirtation was a good way to get better drinks, and even maybe one or two on the house.
“Jack and coke,” She said with a bright smile.
He raised a brow at her, clearly expecting her to order something more girly. She just shrugged and tilted her head. “What? Those fru-fru drinks just don’t cut it for me.”
His grin widened and he turned to Karlie.

Wasn't that the point of lists? They were the people that skipped the line? It wasn't her fault she was on the list and they weren't. It wasn't like she'd skipped the line simply because she looked better than any of those losers. Though she was known to do that too and she didn't care about whining bitches then either. What was the point in having a talent and not using it? Yes this was a talent. You see it wasn't the having your name on the list that was the big thing, it was getting it there. Opening a bar or a club was stressful business, and any woman knew that a man was not well equipped to deal with that. Because of this fact, a man would hire another person to do all the last minute things but would deal with the stress so more often than not could be found at their biggest competition, sitting at the bar, drinking away their worries. And that was when they were easy targets for a girl like Karlie who could just look a guy under those long eyelashes and shoot her bambi eyes at them and get whatever she wanted. There were very few things that models didn't know about getting into bars or into a guys pants.
As they'd settled at the bar, Abby had told Karlie not to call her Abigail, threatening her with an utterly absurd nickname, Tallulah does the hula. Karlie just laughed. "I don't know.... I think it suits me!" She said before spinning her hips, completely taking the piss. "See... Perfect hula girl!" It wasn’t long after that, that the bar tender had come over to take their drink order. Karlie noticed the instant boob enhancing coming from Miss Sykes and had to bite on the inside of her lip to stop herself from bursting out laughing. Abby had ordered her drink and then explained the reasons behind it which seemed to impress the bar tender who was BLATANTLY checking her out. He’d grinned and turned towards Karlie who just let her eyebrows raise at him. “I’m all about fru-fru… Black Russian… Tall… Extra Russian…” He nodded at Karlie and went off to get their drinks while Karlie just turned to Abby with a smirk. “Flirt much?” She teased. Of course Karlie couldn’t really give anyone stick for flirting could she?
After a few short moments, the bartender had bought over two drinks, placing them before the two beautiful girls and as Karlie opened her purse to get some money she was informed it was taken care of. Karlie frowned at him only to be pointed across the bar to the guy who had insisted the two girls get what every they want free all night. Leaning over the bar slightly to look and seeing the guy who owned the bar winking at her before going back to work. “Tell him I’ll thank him later!” She said with a wink before turning towards Abby holding her hand up to high five her, following through to slap her ass and giggled her way to a spare spot at the side of the room, practically gulping down her drink and checking out the competition on the dance floor.

Abby just rolled her eyes at Karlie. The girl was hyped up and ready to party. Abby took her drink from the bartender and gave him a wink. Turning around she leaned her back against the bar and sipped her whiskey. She couldn’t understand how Karlie drank those sweet drinks. Any time Abby tried they just wanted to make her puke. Too much sugar not enough kick.
She started moving with the music, letting it wash over her. The tension in her shoulders began to fade away. Tension she hadn’t even noticed was there. She knew part of it was Cheveyo trying to get her attention. She didn’t know what he wanted, but she was determined to ignore it as long as she could. When Karlie was around it was hard to pay attention to your problems. No, there were probably going to be new ones with Karlie around, but nothing serious. A bar fight here, running away from cops there, and by the end of the night they could possibly wind up in jail for something trivial like being public intoxication.
Right now though, Abby wanted to dance. She quickly finished off her drink and turned back to the bartender for another one. He was quick to refill and she gave him a smile and a good tip before looking over at Karlie.
“So then, shall we go and show these people who to really dance?” She gave Karlie an impish grin and started walking towards the dance floor, keeping her drink raised so no one bumped into her and spilled it.
It was the beginning of a long night that Abby was intent on enjoying. She quickly moved into the crowd and let the music take her over. Right now there were no worries or cares. That brought a thought to mind and she laughed to look at Karlie.
“Hey! Hakuna Matata!” She spun around, careful not to spill her drink before winking at her friend and drinking more of her whiskey.

Karlie had finished her drink, placing down the drink before Abby asked her if they were gonna show them how to dance. She giggled as she moved her way onto the dance floor after Abby. She was holding her drink above her head as she danced and it actually impressed Karlie as well as making her quite glad that she'd finished hers because she wasn't quite as skilled as Abby was. Even if she was normally, right now she'd be struggling. Maybe all that champagne was a bad idea.... meh never mind.
Karlie had stayed close to Abby as she let the beat of the music move her. Every movement flowed effortlessly into the last and you could tell that Karlie wasn't a stranger to the dance floor. The gorgeous brunette had turned to Karlie and shouted hakuna matata before spinning her. As she stopped with a foot landing heavily on the floor, Karlie burst out laughing. She fixed her hair back off her face and shook her head at Abigail. "I have never had anyone quote lion king to me on the dance floor... bravo!" It was random and utterly hilarious. She couldn't quite believe it had been said really.
Karlie noticed someone checking the pair of them out, smirking and placing her back against Abby's as she danced, tilting her head back and whispering. "Guy watching us... 10 o'clock..." She said before moving so that Abby could subtly get a good look.

When Karlie commended Abby on quoting the Lion King she gave the other woman a small bow. “That’s right. I’m shiznit bitches!”
Abby laughed and continued dancing. She loved getting lost in the nameless, faceless crowd as they moved to the music. Letting the rhythm wash over her, Abby let her body be taken over by it. Karlie mentioned something about guys, bringing Abby halfway back to her senses. Looking over Abby saw the men that Karlie was talking about. They were both fairly young. In fact they looked like they’d probably used a fake ID like Karlie to get in. They didn’t even look they had to shave on a regular basis. Abby snorted. “Pffft, there momma’s probably don’t even know they’re out on a school night.”
Abby waved them off and got lost in the music again, enjoying the night out with Karlie. She had definitely needed it. Unfortunately the not yet hit puberty guys came their way. Abby rolled her eyes and gestured to Karlie that if she wanted them, they were all hers. “You know me.” She winked at her. “I prefer men.”
Gesturing to one of the floor waitresses Abby ordered another drink for herself and Karlie and looked around for any prospects. Clubs were fun, but not the ideal place to find a one night stand. There were more boys pretending to be men than actual men.
A sudden chill made its way down Abby’s spine and she began looking for something else. There was trouble lingering. She didn’t know what or who, but she could feel it in her gut. She moved back over to Karlie taking her by the wrist and pulling her off the dance floor. “Something’s about to go down.”

It was a fair cop, they at least had to be home by 10 o clock if their momma's did know. They'd gone back to dancing when the children had come along to bother them. Abby basically left her to deal with it, telling Karlie she liked men. She laughed and turned to the boys as Abby gestured over a waitress. As Karlie turned to view them, the two guys got grins across their faces like kids on christmas morning. "Well hi boys!" Karlie walked between them her fingertips stroking both their cheeks in unison and her hands flipping down as she reached the back of them to playfully spank them. Karlie then turned on her heels, knowing the boys would turn with her. "So whats the plan fellas?" She asked, her eyebrows raising slightly. "My friend there's out.. So it'd just be the three of us." Shrugging Karlie continued. "I mean you've got a world of choices... All you have to do is suggest one."
Suddenly changing her tone Karlie gasped slightly. "But then.... You see that guy over there..." Karlie pointed over to the bar, towards the guy that owned the bar, the guy who got her on the guest list and then guy that had made last night so enjoyable. Karlie shot an air kiss his way and he winked at her with a grin. "Yeah that's my boyfriend... and he owns this place... And I'd have to tell HIM what you say... and that you aren't even old enough to buy cigarettes, let alone be drinking on his property." Karlie shrugged slightly and waved her hand, mouthing a bye bye.
Karlie watched them scram before heading back to Abby with a grin. It was then that Abby seemed to change a little. Karlie's head titled in minor confusion before her wrist was grabbed and she was pulled off of the dancefloor and told something was about to go down. Frowning, Karlie's eyes searched the room before looking back to Abby. "Wha... what do you mean?" She was beyond confused.

Shaking her head, Abby looked around. She didn’t know what the danger was or what was happening. There was a tingling at the base of her skull. Cheveyo, warning her. He gave her subtle signs even if she could only actually talk to him through meditation. Or, well if she was close to death. Since Abby wouldn’t take the steps necessary to talk to him on a day to day basis, he felt the need to contact her by giving her headaches, or somehow changing her attitude. Right now, that cold feeling in her gut said he was warning her.
“Time to go,” She told Karlie. Keeping hold of the girls arm she started for the door, not knowing what was going to happen, but knowing it wasn’t anything good. Abby didn’t like it when Cheveyo toyed with her. If it were up to Abby he would leave her alone all together. That would make it considerably easier for her to die though.
Abby pushed through the crowd, keeping a tight hold on Karlie’s arm. The place had gone from crowded to obscenely packed in a very short time. Pushing through bodies was like trying to squeeze through a rolling press. Only this was less comfortable and more irritating as Abby tried to get them to the exit.
The screams started and Abby turned her head back towards the dance floor. At first she thought it was strobe lights, but then noticed the black was actually growing with each flicker. “Not good, not good, not good.” A portal was opening right there on the dance floor. What came through though, well that was anyone’s guess. It could be a ray of sunshine or a horde of undead warriors. The other realm was a tricky place.
Though, judging by Cheveyo’s warning, she figured that a truck load of fluffy pink bunnies wasn’t going to come through. Turning back towards the door, she continued hauling Karlie that way. The only problem was, now everyone else was trying to get out to.
