Bio:
Born the daughter of unique young woman with strange abilities, Pheonix was adopted soon after her biological mothers death by a government scientist and his wife. Since the wife could not have children of her own and the scientist wanted to see if the real mothers powers would manifest in her daughter, it seemed like the perfect match for both the orphan child and the childless couple.
The first few years of her life past very much like any other child's. Er... Ok, not really. She played, she grew, she had tests run on her. Without the mothers knowledge, her new adopted daddy put her through a battery of tests that gave evidence of her elite brain and her ability to use power sources to perform magic.
Telekinesis was his first guess when the young infant started to retrieve things out of her grasp but it soon turned out to be much much more. As she grew, the young girl began to consciously tap into different ley lines in the earth that called to her magical abilities. Since these lines were not visible to the natural eye, most humans knew nothing about them or how to twist them to their own purposes.
To Pheonix , they came as easy as breathing.
Once she reached her teenage years, daddy dearest began to instruct her on strategy and political dealings. At fifteen, the scientist presented his findings of the young girl to the pentagon and she was taken into the government system.
There, she learned to negotiate terrorist situations, went on diplomatic envoys with notable persons and became one of the finest secret service agents in the world by the time she was twenty four. Along the way, she learned of top secret organizations and was assigned to many a "sensitive" mission. As she proved herself in the line of duty, she was introduced to the world of the supernatural and finally realized that she was just another freak in the mortal world. She was nothing more than a lab rat to her government to be observed and prodded.
And, of course, she hates every minute of it.
Finally, after years spent doing her job and battling the bad guys, she received the opportunity to get out from under it all. The arrival of her mothers Uncle changed her life and gave her chance at some freedom. It seemed a special task force was in need of a skill negotiator and he wanted her to try out for the position.
