Sareh Astar
A wraith with an angel's body,
A demon with a smile of gold,
You soul-sucker!
I won't become like you,
A killer with the perfect weapons,
crystal eyes,
and a heart of coal.
Full Name: Sareh Astar
Nicknames: Sareh; Star
Physical Age: Who knows? She lost count of that many years ago. Although, if it's any indication, she was there to witness the defeat of Sparta by Persia. having recently been turned. Physically, she was approximately 20 years old before becoming a vampire.
Date of Birth: N/A
Hometown: Somewhere in Persia
Current Residence: New Orleans, Louisiana
Occupation: Evil genius. No really, she's an evil genius. On the outside she seems like a business woman, with ownership over several beneficial companies, but behind the mask she's planning the end of the world. Her main company, Astar Medical Incorporated, is a medical research firm with a distinct focus on "benefiting" the humans, but at the same time, deals various medical supplies under the table to vampires.
Relationship Status: Single
Character Type: Vampire
Affiliations: Appears chaotic good, but is chaotic evil in actuality.
Gender: Female
Hair: Light Brown
Eyes: Olive Green
Height: 5' 5"
Weight: 126 lbs
Body Type: Small, slender.
Best Feature: Just about everything. In her mind, she's the perfect predator.
Worst Feature: Her age. She finds it discontenting to often be treated as a child, given her true age.
Sexuality: Sareh's experimented both ways (one gender gets a little old after a few hundred years after all), but for the most part, she takes more male lovers than female.
Personal Style: Sareh tends to orient her wardrobe to suit those around her. She's always done that, mainly as a survival mechanism over the years. She's worn it all, corsets..powdered wigs...armor...buckskin...you name it. But in every incarnation, she's always held a somewhat simple elegance to her style, coming off as both refined yet playful.
Face Claim: Ellen Page
Abilities: General vampiric abilities. Enhanced senses, extreme strength, advanced healing, and immortality are the physical attributes. She also can easily hypnotize humans, and some supernaturals to boot. Levitation is something she never really got the hang of, and doesn't spend much time trying to perfect it.
On the downside though, being a vampire, Sareh can't stand sunlight. It's not as a bad as when she was freshly turned, when she couldn't even stand being in the shadows on the a sunny day, but now she can pretty much tolerate anything but direct, full-on sunlight. She's also not a big fan of silver either.
Personality: The easiest way to describe Sareh? Psychotic. She's literally insane. Though for the most part, you'd never know. On the outside, she's one of the most caring, kind, and giving people you'd ever have the privilege to meet. She heads several companies, and runs various charities dedicated to almost anything you can think of.
Yet, that's only a cover for who she truly is. She revels in chaos and bloodshed, and finds no better pleasure than in the senseless taking of life. Torture is one of her favorite pastimes, and she considers serial-killing to be a hobby. And just how does she act about this? Innocent and giddy. She's not like most evil doers that want to take over the world either. Her goal? Well, she just wants to watch the world burn.

Bio: Strangely enough, Sareh barely remembers her human life anymore. Those memories faded over the years, though memories of her vampire life have always remained, as crystal-clear as the day she formed them.
So her birth, as far as she's concerned, occurred when she was about 20 human-years old. Her first memory is awakening as a bloody mess in the middle of the desert, not far from the city of Parsa, known to historians today as the ancient city of Persepolis. Her maker, whoever it had been, was gone, and Sareh was forced to come to terms with her new existence all on her own.
The first year was an extreme learning curb for her. Without anyone to teach her about her new life, every experience was a new lesson. She found that the sun held death for her after a very close call, the closest she's ever come to her end. And she also found that she no longer needed to eat, at least not in the way she saw others feed. Her hunger was of a different sort, a thirst, in which she craved the lifeforce of others. The more blood she drank, the stronger she was; for a while, she gorged herself, with no regard for the life she took. But in those ancient times, myth and legend often spread like wildfire, and with her careless disregard she was soon forced to flee from the only home she remembered.
Sareh eventually found refuge with Persia's armies. She stowed away on their ships as they sailed away to war with Greece, and it was there that she roamed the battlefields, feeding without end. There was so much death, and so much sickness, that it was easy to blend to in, to keep her existence secret. The soldiers often spoke of her, calling her the "Angel of Death"; to them, she was a ghostly spectre, a young, bloody maiden of untold beauty that could be seen walking through the night, leaving a path of death in her wake.
This type of existence was pleasing to her, so she spent countless years, almost centuries, living her life amongst the various wars that plagued Europe and Asia. And it was eventually among those battlefields that she first met others of her kind, and came to truly understand what she was.
She was lilim, vrykolakas, and strigoi. She was vampir, a drinker of blood, a goddess of the night.
Vampire.
It was strange to her, finally knowing what she was, even if she could never truly know who. So even after finding companionship with her own kind, Sareh eventually left them, preferring the lonely life she'd become accustomed to.
Over the years, times changed, and Sareh changed to accommodate them. But essentially her nature remained the same. Her callous disregard for life only grew over the centuries, expanding her tastes for the various forms of death she could bring her victims. After all, the same death over centuries grew tiresome to her, and she found joy in exploring the different ways she could manipulate her victims. There was joy and excitement in the illusions she could spin, and in the eventual show when the illusions were gone, when the humans minds would break down and realize the horror they had become trapped in.
After many years, Sareh slid into the modern times without incident, building a perfect persona for herself. Now that those like her no longer had need to hide in the shadows, she used that opportunity to make her move, and establish herself. After the countless centuries she certainly had enough money, and enough power as well, and her strict acumen and experience garnered her respect in the business world.
It was upon that base that she founded Astar Medical Inc., a medical research firm. On the outside, it was like any other research station, with various divisions dedicated to curing various medical anomalies. Under the surface however, it garnered a much more sinister aim.
While on the outside it would seem to be a prestigious research center with a fair amount of medical breakthroughs, under the surface it hosts a vast amount of illegal dealings ranging from untested vaccines to prototype blood substitutes for vampires. Countless different forms of research can be found at Astar Medical Inc., all with the outward appearance of trying to make the world a better place. And yet, Sareh has a different plan in store...only adding to the mystery of the complex illusion she has built.
What is her plan? To what end does Astar Medical Inc. truly work towards? Only time will tell...
