Bio: Dalen was a warrior, one of the most celebrated warriors of the Fae Realm, he sworn loyalty to the Seelie Fae Queen and fought in her wars, leading a fair portion of her army into battle in their name.
His name alone was fabled to inspire others in battle and his sword to slay even more enemies. And over time his fame grew in the realm, but the warrior had never any interest in the politics of the realm, he didn’t wish for a position of nobility or riches. He was content in serving his fair lords and bringing justice in their name.
It was this loyalty that brought him to cross over to the mortal realm all those centuries ago, under orders of his queen, Dalen was sent to find and bring back a dark fae sorcerer that had escaped their realm after committing unforgivable crimes and he would stop the sorcerer to spreading his vile corruption upon the unknowing mortals.
Unseen from men mortal eyes he tracked down his target and after a fierce battle strike the sorcerer down before he could claim a human life. When Dalen’s eyes fell upon the injured mortal, his heart skipped a beat. She had deep blue eyes like the skies above and silken hair as red as fire itself. From that very moment on he knew he was lost, one look of her eyes was more powerful than an entire army.
Against his better judgment, the warrior brought the mortal woman with him back to the fae realm and nursed her back to health. Eventually the pair got married and lived many happy years together. She was of mortal constitution and time took its toll on her, but Dalen stayed faithful to her and by her side to the bitter end.
After her death, Dalen discovered that he had lost his will to fight. No longer he was able to keep his hold upon his sword and strike fear into the enemy’s heart for so strong was the pain in his own.
And so he laid down his sword, swearing to never fight or cross into the mortal realm ever again. Retreating to a simple life of a farmer, reports of him were now seldom heard of. He was still spoken as a man of great honor and courage, but his days as a warrior were now in the past.
Now worrying news reached him, the queen and king of the realm has been missing and news of unrest has grown in alarming rate. Without the balance provided from their lords, the realm has fallen in disarray and Dalen knows a big war is brewing and many innocent souls will suffer in its wake.
And this knowledge has forced him to break his oath.
He has taken his sword again to investigate rumors that the ruler’s disappearance is connected with events taking place within the mortal realm.
