Cassandra Anya Owens
So I'm a little left of center
I'm a little out of tune
Some say I'm paranormal
So I just bend their spoon
Who wants to be ordinary
In a crazy, mixed-up world
I don't care what they're sayin'

Abilities: Cassandra, like her brother, possesses a fair range of psychic abilities. Though the only power that they seem to share is a telepathic bond, which exists only between the two of them. Other than that, Cass has two unique powers; clairvoyance/clairsentience, and telekinesis.
Her clairvoyance/clairsentience ability allows her to, through will and physical contact, discern parts of the history and future of an object. Basically, by touching either an object or person, Cass can force herself to see flashes/visions of the past and future. Unlike her brother's prophetic dreams/visions, her ability is very vague and lacking detail, despite her practice with it. She cannot choose what she sees, and often sees only meaningless things. This ability is substantially weaker than her other.
Far stronger is her telekinesis, which allows her to move objects with her mind. She definitely cannot toss cars and trees around at will, but can move around most objects. The strength of her telekinesis is mostly around the general human level of strength, and maybe a little higher. And for the most part, to move an object, she has to either see it, or have a good mental picture of it, and its relation in distance to her.
She doesn't receive any real abilities from her blood-bond with the Fae Knight Cayden, and in fact it's more of a pain in the ass to her than anything. Cayden himself can sense where she is and what's she's feeling because of it, but Cass only senses the connection in its generality. And since her and Cayden are tied together, by blood and spirit, if Cayden dies so does she.
Personality: Cass is a very strong, independent woman. She'd the first to take charge in a situation, and the last to back down. This outlook has a tendency to get her into trouble, but most of the time she laughs at danger, and challenges it head-on, never really showing any fear. Some would say she's stupidly courageous, but don't let her hear you say that, cause she'll definitely kick your ass.
At the same time, despite having a fairly rough disposition, she's very sensitive and caring inside. She doesn't reveal that side of herself much, but it is often apparent through her strong zeal for life and strict moral compass. Always one to do the right thing, she fights for what she believes in, and protects the innocent from those that might do them harm.

Bio: Even in the beginning, Cass was different. For as long as she can remember, she's always had her abilities, just like her brother Jasper. The two of them used to be close, because of their telepathic bond, but they grew apart after their father died, and Jasper began rejecting his abilities.
To Cass, her psychic abilities were a blessing, a gift. Jasper didn't view them the same way, and often thought of them as a curse. As much as Jasper moved away from anything supernatural, Cass equally began to bury herself in it. This eventually led to a huge fallout, when they were both 15 years old, after which the two hardly ever even talked to one another. And at 17, when the twins graduated, Jasper went off into the military and Cass went into college, studying the occult.
After graduating, she opened a small psychic shop, Veritas, which also served as a sanctuary for various individuals of the supernatural persuasion. Those in the know went there for supplies, as well as information. On the outside, her shop seemed like a boutique specializing in the weird and the occult, run by a woman that was equally as strange, but in actuality it was a crossroads for everything and anything.
One day, Cass received word through a source of a rare occurrence; a Portal. Portals were places where the veil between this world and the Realm, the world of the Fae, had grown thin, allowing for travel. She found the Portal, but it happened to be the worst thing she could have possibly done.
A Fae Knight was had crossed over, and had apparently been ambushed by another Fae, a Dark Fae. Cass herself knew only a little of Fae politics, but she knew that the Fae existed in two main factions; the Light Fae, which were essentially good, and the Dark Fae, which were basically the opposite of those in the Light. Each came a different royal house, and each tended not to get along with the other.
Cass watched the fight, unseen, but when the Dark Fae was about to deliver a death blow to the other, she chose to intervene. Using her psychic ability, Cass threw the Dark Fae away, into the Portal, but not before the his dagger, meant for the Fae Knight, struck her. She was no doctor, but she knew the wound was grave, and most likely fatal.
The Fae Knight, Cayden Featherwind, told her that he owed her his life, and used his magic to create a blood-bond to save her. This tied them both, through blood and spirit, to the other. He took her back to Veritas, and stayed with her for a time. The two grew close, but one day Cayden disappeared, leaving behind nothing but one of his daggers for her.
