((OOC: This is for any of the gals (or guys) that might want to join. The Nameless Bride would be the type of person that anyone would know; friend, acquaintance, co-worker, whatever. So don't hesitate because you think you might not have a way of knowing the bride-to-be. Just make something up.
This scene is to shop for the party that will happen later in another thread. So there will be more to follow this one when it's run it's course.))
The shop was delightful and the name was just too good to pass up. Yes, the perfect place to register the Bride-to-Be for her bachelorette party gifts. That party was supposed to be fun not the boring stuff old lady's party with the Mother In-Law present like a Bridal Shower. That would have to be a more subdued affair.
With a snap of her fingers the registration for the gifts was changed to the store on the emails that were sent out. She hummed a happy little tune under her breath as she browsed, picking up this and that and giggling as she turned a bit over and looked at it. "Wow...four D cell batteries? Why not just hook up a gas generator to it?" she said appreciatively and set it back on the shelf as she moved over to the body paint and powders, sniffing this and that picking out the perfect ones for the couple and pulling them to the forefront of the display to make them easier to find.
The place was so enchanting already, the colors, the decor, the chairs that looked like giant high heeled shoes! Oooh shoes. Did they have any here? She lifted her head and looked around for the proprietor of the store. "Yooohoo! Anyone here?" she called lightly toward the counter and drifted that way, her long hippy skirt trailing behind her, the cooled air of the shop feeling good on her bare arms from the tanktop she wore, the wide belt bringing the two together seamlessly and her open toed sandals showing off her fun little pedicure with the tiny flowers painted on her big toe.
