There are ‘tears’ occurring between the two worlds; happening in the most random of places and at the most inappropriate of times.
There have always been portals between the two realms- but usually only beings that are knowledgeable and accepted are allowed to pass through as sentry stand guard at these openings. Lately however, these ‘tears’ have been enabling fierce wild other worlders through; such as ghastly lower-level demons or mythical creatures like unicorns and dragons.
These creatures lack the rationale to find their way back through, and are free to run wild out in the common world; which of course, is causing chaos.
Unfortunately there is another negative drawback to these ‘rips’. Unassuming mortals with no prior knowledge of the other realms are falling through, and falling victim to blood thirsty creatures on the other side.
These unnatural occurrences have becoming increasingly common, especially in the bayou town of New Orleans.
Slowly, but surely the evil factions of the Realm beyond are making their way into our world...
With the Council’s attention diverted to finding the source of these openings, confusion has befallen the Fae Realm. The Kind and Queen are missing; their whereabouts as well as welfare unknown to the inhabitants of this world.
A Civil war has begun amongst the Fae people as both Dark and Light Fae vie for supremacy.
Council members struggle to increase their sentinel numbers; having stake in both the Other Realm as well as the Human. Are you up to the task?
Where do you fit into this tale? As a quiet observer, or will you stand up against those creatures that go bump in the night.
The Fate of our world is up to you...
