Leave your mark under my skin
Oh my how strong you are
And feast your eyes on my disdain
And hope this one won't scar
What a bunch of bloody misfits.
Sometimes Kat felt like Dorothy in the wizard of oz with her band of odd ball tag alongs. She kept waiting for someone to pop out of a corner telling her they weren't in Kansas anymore. Or at least "I'LL GET YOU MY PRETTY!". The good lord knew it couldn't be any stranger than the little group who had been brought together to "Save the world".
Who's ever wise idea THAT was she didn't know.
Yeah, gotta love the governments idea of a "special unit". They were special all right. There wasn't a person in the room who could be considered sane but they were the elite of the elite when it came to battle tactics and military intelligence. If you could keep them in line, that was. Which was like Mission Impossible in and of itself.
Kat was beginning to wonder if this wasn't a bigger headache than she wanted to deal with. Between trying to keep Sheppard from blowing up everything in sight, Jordan from bedding everything in site, Rae from killing everything in sight and.. well, need she go on? She sometimes thought she'd be lucky if she didn't end up joining the other side. There were times when that option almost seemed peaceful.
To bad her human side ruled the day.... And that they kind of grew on you after awhile.... Guess that made her as nuts as they were.
Oh Happy Happy Joy Joy.
Shaking her head at the talk of blowing the enemy to smithereens, the red head crossed her arms over her chest and frowned. Lt. Jordans' words had her nodding but it was Jasper's words that finally made her speak up.
"Your right on all accounts. Wraith demons are vengeful spirits who are summoned from the grave. They exist for the sole purpose of killing and can be commanded by any black witch powerful enough to control them. They are thought to be a messenger of death and very few people who see them actually live to tell about it."
Casting her blue gaze around the room, she continued.
"Our next mission is to find out who is summoning these things and take them out. There has been a serious of mysterious deaths in the New Orleans area lately and my sources tell me that there is a coven of witchs practicing heavily in the area. We need to find out where, when and why and then we hit the bitchs hard."
Pushing away from the desk, she stepped forward and eyed them all.
"Due to the fact that we will be dealing with magic on this mission, Nix Jameson will be joining us on this run... She's a ley line witch who can offer us some protection from whatever spells they might try to throw at us. Most of you meet her when you went through your battery of tests. She's with the FBI so she only joins us when needed..... Are there any questions?"
