The Amazon was strolling through the city, completely lost. She had tried to ask for directions, but like she knew what North, South, East, or West was. Couldn't they have given her directions by pointing in said direction that she needed to go?
The only option she had left was this contraption that Bael had mentioned to her about. He had programmed his number into it and showed her how to operate it. He was the only number she had on it, so it wasn't difficult to get his number up. He had tried to show her how to send a text message, but that was far too advanced for her. She stared at all the screens she had to use to get to it and nearly crashed from all the pressure.
Calling was far easier for her. She pressed send on her phone and listened to the phone ringing on the other end. As she waited she ran across an establishment that looked like a good spot to sit and wait for him.
When he didn't answer she got his voice mail, which he had informed her how to leave a message as well. "Bael, I'm lost...like really lost," she said into the phone a little frantically. She looked up at the address above the door she was standing in front of and blurted it out, so Bael could find her. "It says The Wolf's Den. Yes, that's the name of the place," she told him as she pushed against the doors and went inside. When she entered she let out a little gasp at what she saw and accidentally dropped the call in the process.
"This is.." She couldn't unsee this. Her eyes were burned with the image of some nude woman on a stage, humping the air wildly.
There was a bouncer standing at the door. He was shorter than her, but he was muscular. He grinned at her with this devilish glint. "Are you the new stripper?"
She furrowed her brow. "Stripper?" She asked him with a confused expression, but before she knew it he was leading her away from the entrance. "I- I don't think-" Her words were cut off as he lead her towards the backstage.
There were woman back there that were scantily clad. She glanced down at her black pants and white top. What was this place? Her eyes were the size of saucers.
She turned back around. She needed to speak to that man and let him know she was waiting for someone. That is, if Bael got her message. She hoped he did. This was not a place she wanted to be stranded in for too long.
More importantly, she didn't like some of the wolfish grins she was getting from some of the men in the audience as she had passed by.

Who you’re gonna call when your enemy sends a golem after you?
Bael the badass bounty hunter off course. Yeah, he would cash out the check for this job…once the word stopped spinning. Who would tell that the rock dude had such a wicked left hook that would leave him seeing stars for a good half-hour? But being a bounty-hunter meant at times he was paid to take out targets before they took out who was paying him, and when he was a job he expected payment.
Leaning back at the wall behind him, his huge hand came to wipe the sweat of his forehead and then take a breather. Heh, that rocky sucker knew now who had the baddest left hook in town. Bael wasn’t the best on the business by accident.
It was then that beep sound caught his attention and the demon pulled the phone out of his pocket and checked it. One unanswered call, what you know, it was that hot and goddess that he’d help out against the pansy boys in togas. He had the impression she had a thing for big and red, that was a girl of good taste, and lookit, she had left him a voice mail.
After letting out a little smirk, he heard out her message. Poor girl, she probably was having a hard time adjusting down there in the real world. It hadn’t been any picnic for himself when he had first crawled out of hell himself.
But when she mentioned the name of the place she was in, he frowned. Wolf’s Den? Wasn’t that the name of the high class stripper joint Cooper had told him about? If half of what the guy told him about the place it definitively was worth to check out…but he never did he’d go there to rescue a lost goddess. Of all the places she had to stumble into this town!
…
It took him a little while to cross the distance to the club and that cumbersome clothing that he had to wear not to spook everyone, the hat, gloves and scarf, it was downright annoying at times, but he was there.
The bouncer at the door was just throwing out some poor schmuck when Bael arrived, but all it took was one look from the demon for the bouncer to stand back and allow him passage.
Now where was tall, blonde and godly power babe?

“What is this place?” Xesa breathed out harshly, still staring at the women behind stage. “I am not supposed to be here,” she said, turning on the balls of her feet. One of the women grabbed her arm. She was a red head and acted as if Xesa had just become her charity case. “Lookit girls, the new girl is here and she’s nervous. Let’s help her out.”Xesa’s face paled as she pushed the woman’s hand off of her arm. “I don’t need help. Well, yes, I need some help. I am lost,” she said. That seemed to make all the women decide that Xesa was lost in her way of becoming a stripper. They came around her and pushed her down into a chair. “Don’t ya worry darlin’. We’ll get you fixed up.”The Amazon grumbled and went to stand, but they were being quite persistent as they started putting make-up on her. How did she get out of this without using Godly force? She had promised herself, as well as her uncle, that she would not hurt these poor humans. Where was that big red demon when she needed him? Before she knew it these women had her hair down, make-up done (thankfully not too much), and had her in nothing but her skivvies, which they threw a black jacket over. The Amazon had no idea what to think about all of this treatment. It reminded her of the days back home when her lady-in-waiting attended to her. “Thank you for the wonderful lesson in dressing up,” she hopped up and grabbed her clothes, tugging the jacket tighter around her form. She needed to get out of there and see if Bael had arrived. The women snickered, thinking it was such a delight helping someone out. “Go strut your stuff girl,” they lead her out. Another grabbed her old clothes and tossed them aside. “Strut my stuff?” She questioned them as they walked her out. Little did she know they had walked her out to the stage and gave her a little shove out onto the platform. There were men all around it and her face flamed, probably as bright as Bael’s skin was. What was this? She didn’t even know what she was doing out here, except looking like a lost puppy. She was completley out of her element. Fighting, she could handle that, standing around half naked in front of men, not so much. It reminded her of the torture her uncle put her through, punishing her in front of a crowd of lookers. Some raunchy sounding music started up in the background and she stood there with a frightened look. She must not have been acting fast enough because she felt a hand on her thigh, curving just around where her thigh-highs met flesh. Her blue eyes flashed and she spun on him, kicking a heeled foot out and pushing the man against the chest. He stumbled backwards so roughly that the chair fell over. “You stupid cunt!” She heard a growl and thought that a fight looked about ready to start. It would not take this Amazon much to get pissed off. She wanted to snap his neck off and the intent was quite clear in her eyes, but she was quite proud of herself that she didn’t lunge at the man, especially considering that having the thought of torture on her mind had her reeling. Leave it to grabby hands to do just that though. He reached for her ankles and yanked, pulling her down off the stage rather forcibly. Her backside hit with a thud, but the guards were coming their way by now. The fun part was the establishment erupted into a fight just then. Chairs, fists, and bottles were being tossed around suddenly. She was too busy with the man that had grabbed her. She grabbed him by the hair of the head, about to punch him in the face when she saw Bael out of the corner of her eyes. Dropping her hold on his head, she was about to make her way to the demon. She shouldn’t have gotten too distracted. As she went to walk away and heads towards Bael the man she had been fighting landed a good right on her cheek. She didn't flinch, but it did knock her head a good one. He couldn't be human, not with the force behind that punch. She scowled and lunged at the man, taking him to the ground and losing them in the mass of people fighting.

This place seemed to be just like his buddy Coop had told him, fancy place, stocked bar and a beautiful red head stripping on the stage. And there was a 7 foot tall demon leering at the stripper on the stage.
Okay, focus Bael, you’re there to find a tall blonde who seem to have a crush on tall and red, so don’t let her spot you eyeing the hot dancer on stage or she might get angry at you. But man, you’d think a tall lady like her would be easy to spot at this place, but so far he had failed to spot her.
All that he was seeing right now was everyone stepping aside as they saw the big mountain of muscles he was and staying out of his path as he made his way to the bar, maybe she was getting a drink or something. Give it to Xesa to get lost and stumble into a strip club. For a second the idea of her in the stage passed through his mind, but he believed that idea to be absurd, she didn’t see like the type…but sure as hell it would be a hot sight.
“Hey man, get me a beer please?”
When the bartender just stared at him with those big surprised eyes of his at seeing the huge guy there, Bael sighed. He wasn’t a sexy lady, so he didn’t appreciate the stare.
“Anything wrong?”
The bartender shook his head and rushed off to get his order, but while Bael waited and tried to pinpoint the tall blonde amidst the crowd with no success and not even calling her phone seemed to work, he turned around when he heard a commotion from the stage.
And that was…
Talk about jaw dropping sight!
But just then all hell broke loose, some jerk grabbed her and the whole freaking place turned into full arena fighting frenzy mode and the bouncers had a lot of work in their hands.
Yet no one dared to move a hand against the huge guy wrapped completely in clothing. Bunch of wussies. But still the stood in his way lost in their own fights, luckily, Bael had his pinky to send all those in his path flying off like they were nothing.
Finally reaching Xesa, he grabbed the head of the idiot that was harassing her with his huge hand and lifted him in the air while the guy’s legs twisted comically without any ground beneath him.
“Excuse me, but is this idiot pestering you?"

Xesa was having a good fight with the man on the ground. Her fingers were jabbing at his eyes, trying to fight dirty and make the man howl with pain. That was until the man was extricated from her form. She stood as Bael grabbed the man and lifted him off the ground. She watched his legs twist around, trying to touch something.
“How’s big, red, and handsome this evening?” She couldn’t resist to flirt with him while working the pain out of her jaw. The way he loomed over everyone. He was impressive, but that wasn't the only thing she really liked about him.
“Yes he was!” She answered Bael's question as she brought her hands to her hips. The jacket that she was wearing was now missing the buttons and hanging loosely open. “But, I had it aaaall under control.” Her lips lifted in a grin, trying to sound impressive to Bael. “Didn’t you see? I was about to really teach him a lesson,” her smile widened with amusement.
“I do owe him something though. A small…settlement,” she told Bael. A devious twinkle crossed her blue eyes as she spun in towards the man he was holding and nailed a good left hook to his cheek. It knocked the man unconscious and she couldn’t help but grin. “Oh! We should do this more often! You hold the guy and I’ll use him as a punching bag!” She clapped her hands happily at this prospect.
It was when she saw the chair. “Watch out-” She flinched when some guy slammed a chair over Bael’s head. “for that chair.”
She pushed passed Bael and went for the man that had hit him over the head. “I’ll give you something to hit on,” she said then added, “And no it isn’t me!” She picked up an empty bottle then tossed it aside, thinking it wouldn’t suffice. Then, she grabbed one of the tables and smacked the charged man across the face with it.
She noticed then that the bouncers had their hands full, trying to rip fights apart, and they gave her a nasty look. “Does this mean I’m in trouble?” She wondered out loud. At the same time she wondered if she was a troublemaker. How else did she keep getting into these fights? They seemed to follow her everywhere.

The minute the jerk went limp in his hold, Bael looked at Xesa. “Well, that wasn’t very…sportive of you. Not to mention I was looking forward to throw him all way across the room and look all manly and strong for you,” he added with a grin.
Big, red and handsome. Yeah that woman had good taste. He was just about to speak again when something hit him on the back of the head and caused him to pause.
It did hurt, but not so much as he was about to make however was that hit him hurt. He was going to…stand there and watch. Heck, got admire a woman that smacked a table into a man’s head for you. That thought had him smirking, that and the fact her behind looked amazing in that underwear – cue some quick drooling here while she had his back turned on him -
Looking at her when she turned back to him, Bael shook his head. “No, you’re not in trouble per say…YOU’RE trouble. And I find that kind of hot. Now…” he said before unceremoniously picking her up with his huge hand and throwing her over his shoulder, “Let’s get out of here before you get into more trouble or the cops show up, shall we?”
Pushing through the crowd on his way out – crap, he didn’t meant to push so hard and send that guy flying –
“Uh sorry dude!”
Finally out of the streets, Bael carried the blonde to his truck before settling her down. “Now let’s go to my place and get something to eat, I better keep my eye on you…just to uh…prevent you from getting into any more trouble tonight.”

Xesa gave Bael a lopsided grin. “I already think you are manly and strong,” she said with a laugh just after clobbering the man with said table. She watched him crumble to the floor in a heap. He must have been human. Oops.
She had completely forgotten that she was standing their in hardly anything at all, so Bael’s wandering eyes didn’t register in her brain. “I am trouble!?” She gasped. “You aren’t going to tell my uncle about this, are you?” He might not be happy that she was trouble or causing it for that matter. It hit her then that he said it was kind of hot. “Really? I’ve got a lot more where that came from,” her tone completely changed.
She let out a delightful laugh when he grabbed her easily with one hand and tossed her over his shoulder. “Trouble follows me wherever I go. I told you! I can’t get away from the men. They love these long legs too much,” she teased him.
Some of the men that weren’t fighting were watching them with huge eyes. She wasn’t sure if it was how well they kicked ass or the fact that her ass was only covered with a small piece of black lace and was sticking up into the air.
She snickered as one of the gawkers was sent flying from one little shove. “I love a strong man,” she said to his backside with a laugh. It was hard not to check him out from back there.
Once she was settled down and in the passenger seat of the truck, she glanced out towards The Wolf’s Den. “Are we finally going to try this pizza and beer?” She looked over at Bael as he hopped into the truck. She didn’t mind him keeping her out of trouble, to be honest, she kind of liked being around the big red demon.

Yeah, cue a mental note there to kill any man who looked at her legs. HA! Look at him getting all jealous! But she did have a great set of legs to go along with the rest. So okay, he had a soft spot for her…but the woman was hot, could kick ass and dig strong red guys, so what the hell. Stepping inside the truck, Bael felt the vehicle lean down several inches under his weight. They didn’t exactly make cars for 300 plus pound demons, did they? He had tried a sport car once, a red Ferrari…he liked the color but it didn’t seem to like him very much. No, the black ford f650 was a beast best suited for him. Sliding inside the pickup truck, he removed the scarf and hat and tossed then into the backseat before turning to Xesa and grinning. “Sure…if you promise not to kick the delivery guy…you know…it is from Reginelli’s and I get a discount since I saved the owner from being turned into fish food a while back.” He was joking, more or less. Man, with her ability to start trouble, he wouldn’t be too surprised if ninjas showed up along with the pizza. It wasn’t too long of a ride to Bael’s place, a secluded house barely outside the city limits, the neighbors knew the big guy that lived there liked his privacy and none of them felt like bothering him. Of the neighbors only Miss Parker came to visit him at times, she was blind as a bat but somehow baked great pies, God bless the sweet old lady. Leading the blonde into his home, Bael locked the door behind them. “Feel free to look around and make yourself comfortable, I will just call for the pizza delivery. You like pepperoni?” Yeah, if she had never had cookies, what was the chance of her knowing of pepperoni? Shaking his head, he pulled out his phone and smiled at her. “Right…ah, okay, trust me you’re going to like it.”

Xesa nodded her head. “I promise not to kick this delivery guy.” Though, to be honest, she had no idea what a delivery guy was. As Bael went on to explain she gave him a very confused look. “Reginelli’s? What is that?” She raised an eyebrow as he spoke of getting a discount for saving the owner from being turned into fish food. “A witch was after him?” She completely lost the joke.
“This is a nice..uh…vehicle you have,” she nodded. At least she knew about those. That had been something she learned right away. She had nearly gotten herself mangled more than a couple of times for walking out in front of one. She had yet to sit or ride in one though, so this was quite a new experience for her. The truck was so bouncy, but it didn’t bother her so much. She had a lot of leg room, which was nice. “It was not made for midgets,” she joked with Bael, thinking of the other night when they had sat at the counter of that café that nice woman ran with the excellent cookies.
When they arrived at his home, she got out of the truck, pulling the black jacket closed with her hands. She didn’t want to give anyone a free show, but after closer inspection she realized his place was fairly secluded. She liked it.
She followed him inside and strolled around, looking at some things. She was interested in what he had around his home. “Thank you,” she gave him a smile. When he asked if she liked pepperoni she gave him a confused look. “I trust you,” she gave him a gentle pat on the arm before going back to looking around.
When she found the restroom she stared at herself in the mirror. It was when she remembered that she had left her clothes back at The Wolf’s Den, but it was too late to go get them now. Plus, she didn’t have anything on her, except for the cell phone.
Strolling back out, she pursed her lips. “I forgot my clothes, which has my phone in it. That's only part of it. Your number is the only one on there. If some woman starts calling you I might have to go back there and beat someone's ass.” Someone was sounding a little jealous.

Bael had given a little chuckle as he explained Xesa that Reginelli’s was his favorite pizza place in town, and that he had helped the owner by scaring away some mobsters that were shaking him for protection money. The morons believed the owner had made a deal with the devil himself and that he’d came in person to protect her. For mean and though mobster guys, they screamed like little girls.
With his phone in hand, Bael made short work of ordering six pepperoni pizzas with extra-cheese and a dozen beers. It was true that the big guy had quite an appetite and that he didn’t need to even tell the guy on the phone who he was, by the order they already knew it. “We will deliver it right away Mr. B.”
His place might be a secluded one, but it was anything but small. He’d be damned if he’d live in a place…how Xesa had put it? Made for midgets?
He had a nice collection of guns in show, some highly unusual that he had confiscated from his targets, not to mention some cursed items that you just didn’t want to mess with. Other than that the place was a pretty standard place with a big gourmet kitchen and a pile of Elvis cds.
When Xesa returned from the bathroom and Bale managed to stop drooling at her figure in underwear, he smirked at her jealous words.
“That means I get free pass to bust the heads of any guys that look at those long legs of yours? Because I’d had to beat down every poor schmoo in the world if I was going to do that.
Now he wasn’t one to play much games and he felt a sparkle between them, so he thought what the hell, it was worthy to take a chance.
Moving one arm around her waist, he pulled her close to him and locked his lips into hers. If he got slapped for it…well, he would have a fond memory at least.

Xesa liked Bael's home. It was made for giant people, which seemed a lot more accommodating than the rinky dink apartment she was shafted in. She knew if she wanted to she could get the money for a grand place, but she was trying to act as humanly as possible.
She smiled at Bael’s words. “I’ll give you a free pass if you give me one,” she said it so calmly and quite literally. She was feeling the first stirrings of jealousy. What was this? She knew she thought Bael was attractive and nice, but it hadn’t dawned on her that she might actually really be interested in the big red demon.
Her blue eyes sparkled with amusement at Bael. Was he jealous as well? This could be an interesting thing or it could be potentially dangerous. With a mixture of both it could be extremely hot.
The amusement in her eyes was quickly gone when he slid an arm around her waist and pulled her gruffly against him. The look in her eyes was quickly replaced with one of surprise as his lips crushed against hers, but she didn’t protest. Her arms came down onto his big forearms, gripping them tightly as she tasted all that the demon had to offer and it was a wonderful feeling.
Her head started to spin with delight and she brought her hands to his chest as she leaned her body against his, letting him support her weight. His strong yet soft lips pulled her right in and she couldn’t pull away. She deepened the kiss for a moment before pulling away and leaving the scent of grape hyacinths in her wake.
“I think big, bad, and red is exactly what I need,” she positively radiated. Her lips still hung precariously near his, about to dip back in for another taste when his phone starting ringing on his hip. Instantly she thought of what they were just speaking of. It could quite possibly be a woman that Xesa might need to hurt. Then again, it could actually be something important.
She stopped her hovering lips from touching his again and spoke huskily, “Let me help you with that.” She grabbed the phone and tossed it across the room, hearing a plunk as it landed into something wet. Oh look, now they didn’t have to worry about modern technology bothering them.
And now that it was out of the way, she brought her lips back onto his, fusing them back together with a mesmerizing kiss.

Even if the big guy played cocky and arrogant, he wasn’t sure what was going to happen when he kissed Xesa. Sure she had flirted with him, but she could be only teasing him or using him for protection after the toga guys attacked her…or there could be even other possible reasons that he didn’t think of right now, but at least he’d got away with a kiss even if he was slapped.
But she didn’t push him back, instead she leaned into him and kissed him back and Bael was glad to see she wasn’t all talk or just using him.
That is, if this right now was the way she would be using him…she could use him all she wanted.
She wasn’t red, but the demon did believe the blonde was smoking hot. She was tall, had a great looking body, didn’t scream when she saw him in all his demonic glory and liked big, bad and red…what else he could want?
And she just threw her phone away.
It could have been a job, a highly paying one. He had a reputation to uphold and a bank account to feed after all.
But heck if he cared.
All that he cared right then was how those lips tasted as he kept her body close to his and smirked as he kissed her. How did she smell like grapes like that? What the hell, he didn’t care how, he just liked it and now knew she was one hell of a kisser.
And was then that the doorbell rang. The one that had Elvis’ Blue suede shoes tune to it.
At first, Bael ignored it and kept on kissing Xesa. But the damned pizza delivery guy, Mike, was insistent. He could already hear the guy calling ‘Mr. B.’
Groaning against Xesa’s lips, he sighed.
“I’m going to kill him.”

Xesa loved the feel of Bael against her. He was so much larger than she was. His size had nearly taken her breath away the first time she’d seen him. He had this air about him that spoke of how protective he was. She knew she was protective as well, borderline jealous. Okay..maybe she was over that line when it came to jealousy. She was quite serious. One woman looked his way she would have to hurt her.
All these spurs of jealousy in her made her question her own feelings about Bael and vice versa. What if he didn’t really like her? If she found he had other women in his life she didn’t know how she would handle that one. She probably should have asked him that before she responded to his kiss. But, damn, if he didn’t taste so good. She could eat him up. To hell with the pizza!
Her hands slid over his strong cheekbones then over his neck, about to go further when the doorbell rang. The sound of someone singing permeated the air. It didn’t seem to bother Bael, but when someone started calling out she had to pull away and frown. This was bad timing for someone to show up.
Her eyes sparkled with amusement. “I will kill him for you,” she said teasingly. When Bael walked away to get the pizza Xesa had brought her fingers to her mouth, sliding them against her bruised lips or what felt bruised. The feeling was incredible, something she’d never experienced before. Being an Amazon Princess she was shut off from a lot of things, men being one. She was spoken for; someone Ares had chosen to make the Amazon’s even more powerful. To have a man to her self was quite a new experience.
She brought her blue gaze around the room, taking in the weapons and things that Bael owned. He had a nice collection of weapons. She would have to show him her sword and shield one day. It had been passed on from one generation to the next.
One thing was for certain, she really liked this demon. She could care less about hiring him, which had been her intention the first time she had met him. Now she just wanted to get to know him. Her grandfather and whoever else she could deal with on her own. She didn’t want to bother him with it. His line of work..he must be busy anyway.

Grudgingly he moved away from Xesa and to the door to get the pizzas. Mike was cool, he was one of the few humans that didn’t go all screaming and praying for angels to not let the big demon take his soul when he saw him. But that didn’t mean Bael wasn’t tempted for kicking his ass for interrupting when he did.
“There you go mister B,” he said handling him the pizza boxes and beers before a flash of blonde hair had him peeking inside to see whom it belonged to, and when he saw the big sexy woman in there in her underwear, his eyes went wide.
“Mike,” Bael started, “You know I like you man, but you keep looking at her like this and I will be kicking you all the way across town.”
Mike’s eyes went even wider as he excused himself and stepped back. “Oh sorry mister B, I didn’t mean to…I will just be on my way…”
“Take it easy man, its completely understandable, after all that was my reaction too when I first saw her.”
The delivery man nodded and smiled at the big red guy before turning around and moving back to his car.
Closing the door behind him with his tail, it was easy task to use the tail to spin the key in the keyhole as his hands were busy with the pizza and beers. Giving a smile to Xesa as Bael thought what exactly had let Mike with that stupid drooling gaze on his face.
“Come on, blonde, sexy and godly babe, I already know you’re a great kisser,” his tail sneakily moved around her waist as he moved in her direction, wrapping itself around her waist and pulling her close so he could kiss her again before letting go. “But we still have to initiate you on pizza and beer.”

As soon as Bael opened the door the smell of pizza wafted through the air. Xesa’s stomach protested, making a loud growling noise. Her blue eyes went wide and she peered at the door just as the pizza delivery guy leaned around to look at her. She gave him a little wave before Bael made a comment that brought a tingle up her spine. She loved that possessiveness.
She let out a quiet laugh as the delivery boy stumbled with his words. She watched as Bael closed the door behind him and locked it all with his tail. “A man with many talents, I like it.”
A minuscule smile crossed her features as Bael spoke of her being a good kisser. She let out a surprised sound when his tail wrapped around her waist and pulled her close. His lips pressed against hers quickly, claiming them briefly before letting her go. She felt a little dazed for a moment. A flush crept over her cheeks, warming her face.
She had never been so taken by any man. If her grandfather knew about this he would have a fit; a goddess dating a demon? That was not going to settle with him too well. She already knew what she would probably have to deal with, but she was accepting it and taking full responsibility of her actions. Plus, she really couldn’t stand that man. She hoped one day she could bring him to his knees.
“The pizza smells wonderful. I can’t wait to taste it.” Though, I’d rather be still tasting you, she thought in the back of her mind. She reached for the boxes Bael was holding to give him a hand. “Where shall I sit these at?” She didn’t know where everything was in his house yet.
“What was that music I heard when the man appeared?” She had never heard it before, but it the man’s voice was beautiful. It was a shame she didn’t know who the King of Rock was. She would learn though. “I liked the sound. It was different than what I’ve ever heard.”
