Leaving Xesa speechless for a moment after he pulled her close and kissed, Bael smirked and his ego inflated a bit. Score one for big, red and sneaky.
And then he handled her the pizza’s – man those smelled great, blessed be the day he saved Reginelli’s ass from the gangsters, not to mention he’d get a good discount – It was nice to have company, especially when it came in a nice package like she did.
“Place them over there in the kitchen table and I will get us some plates for us. You made me forget I was even hungry, you know?”
He skipped mentioning that she was giving him a completely different kind of hunger, but would that make her run away? Bael didn’t want to scare her or think he was just some horny idiot…and this time he wasn’t meaning his horns.
But her next words caused him to frown in surprise. Oh the horror! She didn’t know the King? Of all things, deprived of cookies and Elvis, poor girl. Setting down the bag with the beers, he gave her an incredulous look and took her hand once the pizzas where on the table and dragged her along back to the living room.
“We have to fix that, don’t we?” he said turning on the stereo there, placing an Elvis cd into it and pushing play. Without turning around, the edge of his tail wrapped around her wrist and pulled her to him as he turned around to pick her.
“This is the King baby.”
When ‘Jailhouse Rock’ started to sound in the speakers, Bael twirled her in his arms and started to try to show her how to dance to the King of rock.

The kiss had left her still slightly dazed. It took Xesa a few moments to get her bearings straight. When she did, she swiveled around looking for the kitchen table. She strolled over to set the pizza boxes down. “I can’t remember my own name let alone worry about food,” she teased the demon.
Her blue eyes darted up when he grabbed her hand and told her they had to fix her not knowing the King. She smiled as he tugged her over to the stereo, placing some round disk in it. “What is that?” She asked in awe, about to reach out and press buttons on the stereo, except Bael tugged her towards him with his tail. Her hands came up with an excited gesture, landing on his chest.
She smiled, enjoying the time alone with him. The dancing was fun, but she did start wondering how many other women he brought back to his place, bought them pizza and beer, then got them to dance with him.
“I am a very jealous person.” She felt like she should forewarn him. “I won’t care to stab the girl above me if that’s what it takes.” The latter part of that statement was a joke – kind of, but mostly her way to see how many women he might be seeing. A tall muscular hunk like him, he had to have a couple handfuls of women that he could choose from. She’d knock them all down if that is what was needed.
As they moved, she listened to the song Bael had put on. She really enjoyed it. “This is the King of your world?” She asked, completely oblivious that when he said King it was just a nickname for him.
“You’re a very good dancer,” she laughed as Bael twirled her around, making the room spin. When the spinning room settled, she slid her hands around his neck and tugged him towards her, stealing a kiss from him now. “And a very good kisser,” she sighed quietly, wanting to steal another kiss to placate her senses.

Oh man, she didn’t know even the king! What kind of sad sheltered life she had if she didn’t have rock n roll in her life, let alone the King’s rock?
And well, if someone was to see him dancing, it would take points down from his scary factor and he would just have to kill them for that. He had to be scary and badass if he was to keep his reputation of the best and meanest bounty hunter around. But somehow around Xesa, he didn’t feel the need to be feared. She awakened another side of him, one that was fun loving and wanted to impress her.
Still anyone else would have their asses kicked. Well, maybe not Miss Parker, but she couldn’t see anyways.
When she told him she was a jealous person…well, he had already figured it out by the way she acted. Casting her a smile, Bael caressed her cheek gently. “And I’m the protective sort that would throw anyone out the window of a ten store building if they so much as made a remark about those long toned legs of yours.”
Alright, maybe he should have kept the protective and slight possessive crazy demon bit to himself…but there was nothing to be gained by lying. So if she was interested, she’d might just know of that trait of him right from the start.
It wasn’t long before another smile crept on his lips.
“Elvis is the king of rock, the king of music more like it.”
When there was that small silence between one song and the next one, Bael smirked. ‘A very good kisser’ was a refreshing change from ‘Ah! Don’t drag me to hell!’
His eyes moved to the pizzas getting cold in the kitchen and back to Xesa, her last comment still ringing in his ears.
And then the next song started. A little less conversation and a little more action.
He knew exactly what to do.
Rising Xesa in his arms, he tossed her on his shoulder and grinned. “You know, I want to give you a tour of the place.”
Carrying her along the kitchen down to the small corridor and to the bedroom, he placed her down in his bed.
“That is the bedroom…what you say we let the rest of the tour for later and do as the king says? A little more action?”
Alright, terrible cheesy, but if it worked out…

The dancing had been fun and thrilling for Xesa. It wasn’t like she hadn’t danced before, but never with someone the she felt an attraction towards. It had always been parties her grandfather held on Mount O that she had to mingle and dance, moving from one dance partner to the next.
The last dance had always ended with the man that her grandfather had arranged her marriage with. She cringed as she thought about him. So many women thought he was handsome, but what a disgusting creature he was. He was one of those types that knew the women loved him. Xesa hated that about him. It made him ugly.
Coming out of her reverie, her eyes smiled at the demon in front of her. His personality was what made him such a handsome man. She brought a hand to his cheek, caressing it gently and sliding her fingers over his facial hair.
His words brought a smile on her face. He was fierce, yet sweet, and protective, which was exactly what she liked. “I’m protective as well as jealous, put the two together and it might not equal out to be a good thing. A girl gives you those roaming eyes and I’ll have to rip her eyeballs out, except for that one nice lady with the cookies. I like her,” she said rather calmly, no hint of a joke to her voice. It was her turn to leave him with the truth about her crazy Amazon side.
The silence between the two did not seem unnatural. She was comfortable with just dancing around the room with him while their pizzas got cold, but eating pizzas was the farthest thing from her mind.
It was definitely forgotten when Bael grabbed her and tossed her over his shoulder. She laughed as the world pitched, until she was looking at his backside again, which was a damn good view from her perspective. “A tour of your place?” She didn’t know what kind of tour she would actually get. Her eyes were too focused on the muscles moving on his backside to care what the rest of the place looked like.
Well, that was until she was brought into a room, which she figured out was his room when he set her down on the bed. Her eyes took in the big bed, definitely made for taller and bigger folks such as them.
She already knew what she wanted before he even asked. It was apparent they both wanted each other. One hand reached around Bael’s neck and tugged him down forcibly to the bed, bringing the big guy down roughly towards her as she leaned back. The movement caused the jacket she wore to spill open and show all that she wore, which was barely nothing. Maybe she should think those strippers after all.

Yellow eyes bore into her as the red demon watched her. She was tall, but he still towered over her. A smirk came to his lips as he saw the curves of her body and soft skin. Man, an amazon goddess. He had a goddess of Olympus in his bed and she wanted him, what more a guy coming out the pits of hell could want.
And she wasn’t at all put off by his red skin, tallow eyes, trimmed horns or tail. Some demons could wear a human mask and look normal, walk into a bar and grab a beer – or two dozen – and not have to hide himself into annoying layers of clothing just to not see everyone in the room run away screaming that it was Apocalypse day.
When he was tugged against her, his lips brushed against hers furiously as his big arms wrapped around her, bringing her tight against him.
Dammit, she tasted good.
After he broke the kiss, he released the hold his arms had of her body and moved to remove his overcoat and toss it away. He wasn’t wearing a shirt underneath it, heck he was forced to wear it in a hot New Orleans night, so why bother with a shirt underneath it?
He made short work of taking off her jacket as well and tossing it to the floor as well, Bael didn’t want anything hindering his access to her body and even with it he believed she was wearing too much clothes. But he was going to take his time with them, unwrapping it slowly as if he was unwrapping a present.
His hands traveled up and down her long legs for a moment as his lips trailed over her exposed skin. When they reached down, his hand held the covers and tossed them over their heads.
It was going to be a long night…and he was going to enjoy every second of it.

The way Bael worked at undressing her. Then that kiss! She was putty beneath his fingers. His lips on her skin felt on fire. Her body reacted as he brought hands over it. She thought she was going to melt. It was such a wonderful feeling.
She watched him break the kiss, leaving her breathless as he went to work on getting both of their jackets off. Her blue eyes held his yellow ones, unable to pull away as he leaned back down. Her body quivered as his hands came to her thighs, caressing her skin delicately.
He threw the blanket over them and the world shifted around them.
Before Xesa knew it morning light was spilling in from somewhere. She had a big, red arm draped over her body, and for the tenth time that morning she was staring at the contrast of skin colors. She liked the color red on her. She thought it looked good with her skin. The thought made her smile.
Quietly, she slipped from his bed and started grabbing her clothes, not wishing to wake him. He was sleeping sound enough. She had half a mind to take a shower. That was one contraption she had learned to use from the get go.
Inside the restroom the hiss of the shower came on and she slid in, glancing around to see if he had the necessities that she’d need. Shampoo and soap. She was good to go. Hopefully they weren’t those manly scents.
After she finished with her shower, wearing that horrible outfit the strippers put together, she strolled back through his place, making her way towards the front. She wanted to look around at some of these odd contraptions he had around his house. First off, she found herself in the kitchen, staring at all of the appliances. She could get lost in these things. Where to begin?
It started with the refrigerator. The gasp in her couldn’t be held back. She was struck with awe as she stared at all the food inside.
That was until she was so rudely interrupted. There was a change in the air. It brought the smell of lilacs. She knew who it was before she even turned around. It was her aunt Eileithyia, probably the only aunt that Xesa cared for. She quickly dropped and bowed gracefully. “Aunt Eileithya,” she spoke softly. “Has grandfather sent you to get me?”
The beautiful woman smiled, dropping a hand on Xesa’s head. “No, brother has not sent me. I showed earlier this morning. I found you in the bed with…that demon.” There was a look of distaste on her face. Xesa was about to make a derogatory comment when her aunt pulled away. “Not that it matters to me. I bless you with all that I am.”
Xesa cringed, really not wanting any blessing from the Gods or Goddesses, especially not this Goddess. Her powers were along the lines of midwifery and childbirth. The Amazon quickly stood. “Thank you. Is that all that brings you?”
The other woman paused, shaking her head. “I had to tell Ares about what I saw. He would have found out one way or another. I have come to bring you grave information. He is pulling every God and Goddess forward to curse you.”
Xesa felt weary suddenly and leaned against the kitchen counter. “That’s…” She grit her teeth. “Leave me now, please.” She told Eileithyia sharply. “Thank you for baring this information.”
She was going to have leave. She knew leaving Olympus would be difficult for her, but she did not expect her grandfather to go that far. He truly did hate her. It explained why he was so harsh on her.
One thing was decided. She was going to go to Olympus and end this now. Her hand reached into the air, from out of nowhere she pulled the huge blade her mother entrusted to her. She had to take care of this before the curses bled into Bael's life.
((I hope you don’t mind that I fast forwarded, and I had a little idea. ;D ))

His large body stretched in the bed, laying on his chest, the demon’s hand searched instinctively next to him. That had been a long night and it wasn’t a second of it that he didn’t remind fondly. An Olympian goddess, yeah, he was damned good. And so was her, because she had left him tired, happy but tired.
When his hand found only empty space next to him, he frowned and slowly opened his eyes. Bael was alone in the large bedroom and Xesa was nowhere to be seem. Did she slip out while he was sleeping? That would be a damned shame.
Rolling to his back, he stretched again and got to his feet before reclaiming his pants from the floor and slipping into them. It was a warm morning, so he didn’t mind for grabbing a shirt or shoes and padded barefoot towards the bathroom. Gazing at the mirror he smirked and tossed some water on his face. He would be a liar if it wasn’t the face of a satisfied demon. And then his stomach growled and well, maybe he craved for something after all. Maybe a pancake or a few dozen would take care of that.
Turning off the faucet, he headed out into the living room. Still no Xesa, but he could still feel her smell about. Bringing his wrist to his nose as if he remembered something, he took a deep breath. Yeah, her smell was still all over him and once again he thought of the events of the previous night. Why had she left before they had a chance for do over this morning?
It was then that he heard some noise coming from the kitchen and smiled. Hey, maybe he would still get his wish after all. But as he stepped into the kitchen, he didn’t see the hot blonde on her birthday suit as he hoped for, but instead she was wearing the clothes she had last night and a sword on her hand. Sexy but lethal.
Bael raised a brow when her eyes met his. “What’s up? That sword isn’t the kind of good kinky I’m into you know? And why my kitchen smell like flowers?”
(It is completely fine)

Xesa had not expected Bael to be up yet. She wondered if he caught some of the conversation or not. Her blue eyes fixed on his yellow ones, the blade in her hand poofed into thin air as she strolled towards him. “It smells like flowers because my great aunt paid me a visit. Grandfather is trying to curse me. He’s rallying Gods and Goddesses to do so. All it’ll take is the right or wrong curse and I could be doomed. I would not want to be locked away somewhere in the void.”
Her eyes lowered as she stepped up to the demon, invading his space. Thinking of what fell between them last night had her body stirring. After all they had done she wanted him again.
Her arms came around him and she used that pillar of strength to give her more resolve. He smelled so good and after last nights time together the thought of hurting him or seeing him get hurt by a God or Goddess was really making her feel a little ill.
“Would a shield and sword be kinky enough for you,” she joked, placing a soft kiss on his chest. “I have to do something. What if they start coming after you?” She didn’t want to leave him, that was for sure, but what other choice did she have?
All she knew was this felt like the right thing to do. Sure, there was a high chance she’d never see him again. She might get killed or caged. She hoped for death as opposed to getting locked up for centuries of torture. She’d gone through enough torture under her grandfather’s rule.
“Smother me here with your body,” she spoke quietly. “I want to go back with your smell all over me, let my grandfather roll around in that.” She really despised that man. He had become everything she did not want to be, which was why she loved Bael so much. He was nothing like the Gods and Goddesses.
“And I don’t want you following me. If you got hurt or they tried to use you as collateral..” She hate to think of it, even though she knew how terribly strong Bael was. He was far stronger than she was. Definitely one of the biggest demons she had ever met before.

Great aunt? A curse from the gods and goddesses? Locked in the void?
When she came into his arms, he wrapped them around her keeping her close to him protectively. Her smaller frame fitting perfectly against his, she smelled and felt so damned good in him that he didn’t ever want to let go.
Frowning as words continued to roll over her mouth, the demon leaned down his eyes and his yellow eyes bore into her and he frowned. His voice carried a tone of reprobation when he spoke to her.
“What, some god’s curse and you’re going to just wimp out? I’m not ‘following’ you, we are going together and I won’t accept a no from you. We’re going there and kick your grandfather’s butt.”
Bah gods! He had enough of those types! Like he wasn’t good enough to stand in the same room as them for being a demon, what was wrong with being a demon anyways? He wasn’t as pompous as the jerks and didn’t wear togas like they did. And red skin was damn sexy if someone asked him. Bael never felt any fear from them and knew exactly where to hit to make it hurt. Sure the bastards could hit back fiercely, but what the hell, he never felt fear and wouldn’t just give up on her no matter what she said.
“What, I’m supposed to just turn away and let you go? If you leave I will just get up there on Mount Olympus by myself and start kicking some gods ass until I find you again, so we might as well do that together.”
And he wasn’t kidding. Bael might sound arrogant, but he had fought the legions of his own ‘father’ who wanted him to come back and lead his demonic army for him, so why he would shy away from fighting some stupid god of war who was throwing a temper tantrum and using pansy curses to do his job?
He would introduced a big red foot to the gods rear.

Xesa furrowed her brow while a hardened look came to her eyes as she stared into his stern yellow ones. "Wimp out? I do not wimp out. I assure you that. I am going there to fight him. That is my true intention." She then added quietly. "And I intended on going alone because I don't want you cursed as well. If we both end up in the void -- how will we get out?"
She raised up on her tippy toes and brought both of her fair skinned hands against his red cheeks, reveling in the beauty she saw from the contrast of skin color next to one another. "I can't promise this will go well." Her lips pressed against his as her hands held his cheeks, holding any other words he had to say back. Her power washed over them and they disappeared from Bael's kitchen. The only thing left behind was the smell of grape hyacinths where they had once been.
They reappeared moments later in front of Ares throne, which had an army of Gods and Goddesses near him, which she assumed was all conversation about her. She had desecrated their fealty, but it was completely broken when she arrived in front of them all with her lips locked against Bael's. A big red demon in her arms would really have Mount Olympus in an uproar, which was evident from the collective gasp in the room.
Of course, Xesa had done this purposely. She wanted to show Ares that she did not fear him. Her blue eyes opened to look at the yellow ones before she turned towards her grandfather and knelt, mostly from custom. She kept her head down. "I have received word that you wish to curse me, grandfather."
The Gods and Goddesses surrounding him parted like a great wave of water. The white haired, huge man stood, towering over them all. He was similar in build to that of Bael. "You have disgraced me! You are no longer my granddaughter!"
The words were words of war. She knew then what it meant and she was prepared to fight.
There was one God that found this delightful. His curly head of white hair turned towards Ares and nodded. His staff slammed against the ground and Xesa disappeared from Bael's side.
Ares laughed, as well as Hades. "She wants to love a demon. Look at him," Hades motioned his staff at Bael. "Well, my son, she will have many demons to love now. Or shall I say they shall love her?" There was a collective laugh.
Xesa fell out of nowhere, landing in a rough heap in the underworld. Her blue eyes hardened and she let out of a ferocious growl as she pushed herself up and looked around her. The sweltering heat around her immediately brought on a prickling sweat to her skin.
It was strangely frightening. She felt like she had eyes on her from every which way. Then, an echo of a laugh seemed to fill each corner of this deep, never ending abyss. She stood slowly, evaluating her surroundings. From what she gathered she was on an island of stone that was surrounded by a river of molten lava. There were other areas of hard stone, but none that she could reach. Above she could see tall pillars of rock, but knew she could not climb them easily.
She pulled in to use her powers to get out of there, but nothing happened. Her eyes widened with fear. She then tried to reach out for her sword with the same results: nothing. She could not use her powers in the underworld, but she shouldn't have been that surprised. Although she was full of worry when one of Hades large three headed dogs came around the corner, snarling at her. "A cerberus," she breathed out harshly.
Well, she might not have her power or her sword, but they could not take her strength. She would always been an Amazon.

Bael felt a light tingling in his body as Xesa kissed him and before he knew it, he wasn’t in Kansas anymore. Neither the large white haired god staring at them in disgust looked like Toto.
He stood right beside Xesa, his arm lingering around her waist as she spoke to her grandfather, a proud and confident look in his eyes while he stayed with her in defiance. And when the staff slammed against the ground and she vanished from his side, he had tried to hold on to her as if that would keep her there.
Frowning, the big red demon glared at Hades. “First off, call me son again and I will shove that toothpick of yours someplace the sun doesn’t shine,” he took a step towards the god, “Second, bring her back here right now or I will tear this whole place apart with my hands.”
Hades glared back at the demon. “You dare to try to give the gods orders, beast?”
Bael tilted his head and stepped even closer to the god. “It is ‘sexy beast’, and you only get to call me that if you’re female and have long legs,” he added as he stepped even closer, an angry and demanding look on his face that made even Hades gulp hard…and he could hear one of the goddesses giggle, great he was a hit on Olympus.
From their positions behind Hades and Ares, the robbed soldiers lunged at Bael brandishing their swords and large shields, jumping at him and trying to quick overthrow him until no trace of the demon could be seen any longer under all those attacking him. A minute passed and Ares smiled at the demon’s audacity, his granddaughter and the beast had been foolish enough to try to face him?
That was when one of the soldiers was sent back flying with a crushing force. And then another and another in a quick succession, until Bael emerged again, his large hand holding up one of them by his face while the soldier struggled to get himself free only to fall still when his head was smacked hard against the floor.
“I’m growing bored of the Toga boys, is that all you got?” Bael asked with a cocky smirk.
In anger at seeing his soldiers defeated, Ares rose from his throne, and raised his hand. “Not quite demon!”
Lightning bolts shot from the god of war hands, hitting Bael with such a force that had the demon falling to his knees. Every muscle of his body contracted with pain and he groaned. The attack was relentless and incessant, causing dark burns to appear in his red skin as he struggled against the gods hold on him.
Slowly, he willed his foot to rise and plant itself on the floor again despite of the pain. Then he willed both his feet to push his body up, one step forward after another – forget the pain, ignore the pain, remember what was at stake there –
When the demon reached Ares, the god gasped and muttered lowly the word ‘Impossible’ before a huge fist came at him and sent him flying back a few feet.
Bael was ready to collapse, but he wouldn’t let it show, he raised his head high and stared at the dumbfolded god with a reinforced defiant stare.
“Alright, so about bringing her back?”

Xesa recalled the horror stories her grandfather spoke of concerning Hades three headed dogs. They were vicious and loved to chew people up.
Her stance went wide and the beast charged, slamming against her chest. They fell to the ground while her hands latched onto the muzzle of the middle head and started to stretch it wide. It was the other two heads that were the problem. They snapped at her arms, cutting into her flesh. She knew she could handle the beast, but the problem was she also knew there was more than one Cerberus. The way the blood slid was dripping from her arm. It would only be a small amount of time before others joined.
While up above the Gods and Goddesses all reveled in this demon’s strength. Hades was far more impressed than any of them. His thoughts were working, deciding what he could gain from such a soldier. It was Ares who yelled out, “You will never see Xesa again.” He was quite adamant.
It was Hades who said, “How much are you willing to give up for her return?”
Ares was looking at him with disdain. “You promised to keep her locked up!”
The underworld God turned towards Ares. “I did, but I will not refuse a better bargain.”
Hades raised his staff and swirled the top quickly. It projected an imagery of Xesa fighting the Cerberus. In the background there were more advancing in from the smell of her blood. “I have a proposition for you, demon.” The God spoke powerfully. “Promise me your firstborn child, and I will set Xesa free.” There was a pause and he added. “You might want to make this bargain snappy. It looks like your woman is about to become lunch.”
This was a chance on Hades part. He knew there was no guarantee a child would ever come from the demon, but if that demon and the Amazon made a child, he knew it would be overly powerful. It could be his secret weapon.
If Xesa could hear them she would have forewarned Bael to never make a bargain with the Gods and Goddesses. It was like bargaining with the devil. They took only what they wanted and as long as it benefited them, more the reason for her to hate them.
“I can make this a little more spectacular.” Hades snapped a finger as he grew impatient. Skeletal hands reached from beneath the ground grabbing at Xesa. She fought them off, all except for the one that had latched onto her hair. It kept her from moving to get away. She gasped as the two heads lunged at her from each side. There was an audible snap and tearing sound as she tore the middle head practically in half, completely unhinging its jaw. Blood spill all over her, but the hands that reached from beneath the surface of the ground had her arms now, holding her down.
“I curse all the Gods!” Xesa spat at another Cerberus approaching her. She would not back down from anyone, even if it meant her death.
Still holding back one Cerberus, she closed her eyes just as another one lunged at her. Before she knew it she had a pack of wild three headed dogs snapping at her and one another.

His feet were still barely holding him up, but Bael wouldn’t let them notice. Wouldn’t let them notice that the burn marks on his skin from Ares lightning were burning like hell. He needed to keep them talking, buy some time to recover. They were gods, old, strong, immortal. He may be able to take down one or two of them if he used his brain…and a whole lot of luck. But there were dozens of them there.
However the demon knew image meant a lot. If they thought he was ready for another, they would think twice before taking him on and maybe give him an edge. That was the reason why he had always wanted for his targets and employers to thing he was a badass cold bastard. It was a must in his line of work.
When Hades revealed an image of Xesa being attacked by the Cerberus however, that extra edge turned towards his side. Still, it gave the demon the strength he needed to plant both of his foot securely on the floor and ready for another round. Hell, it got him so angry that he was ready to level the damned mount of the gods.
“You son of a bit*h!” He growled at the god. And Ares stood impassive, she was his granddaughter for heaven’s sake! The god had no sign of compassion or emotion towards his own family.
When skeleton hands rose to pin Xesa down, the demon stepped forward, a fiery anger burning in his yellow eyes as he wanted to see if the gods were indeed as immortal as they believed. A couple of toga soldiers that had just recovered from their fight stood in front of him and it were they last mistake as Bael in his anger turned them into a mere red smudge in the floor in seconds.
There was a collective gasp amongst the gods as they watched the gruesome scene.
But even in his mad anger, the demon knew he wouldn’t be able to save Xesa in time even if he torn down all of the gods. But give the bastards his firstborn? And if Xesa would be the mother of this child…he doubted she would ever forgive him for that. Hell, he wouldn’t forgive himself.
Standing up to Hades, he grabbed the god’s vestment and raised him up in the air, binging him so close that their noses almost touched and his yellow eyes burned into the god.
“I have another proposal for you. Bring her back right now and let her go…and I…I will work for you.”
He hated this, the demon had fled from hell and refused to be his father’s soldier. Had earned his freedom. And now, now he would be another’s soldier…
But he had to do it, for her. Part because he felt responsible for the fact that he being with her had brought that fate upon her, and part because he had strong feelings for her.

The Gods and Goddesses were shocked at the strength this one demon displayed, but Hades….Hades was pleased. He had earned himself another soldier and this one was far stronger than any soldier he had working for him. He would be stupid to not accept this. His plan was to take the young. The young from this man would be brutally strong, but to actually have this demon working for him..how perfect.
Ares was beginning to worry about this transaction. He did not want Hades to save his granddaughter. “I forbid this! You are not to release her,” he regarded Hades with a firm look.
Hades laughed. “She is no longer your bargaining chip.” He accepted Bael's proposal then waved his staff.
Another flash entered the room. Xesa was back in the room, but on her back this time. She had been yanking so hard, trying to get free from their hold that she came off the floor quickly and violently. When she realized she had returned she was pumped with pure hatred and malice. She looked down at her arms that were now dripping with blood from where the Cerberus’ had tried to eat her.
Then she looked over at Bael, shocked at how he stood with Hades in his grasp. Her heart dropped. There was something different about him. He looked very tired. She hoped he hadn’t been harmed, but knowing her grandfather he probably tried to kill Bael. The thought made her anger rise again.
She wanted to kill her grandfather with every fiber of her being, which is why she couldn’t back down, no matter how much damage had been done to her arms. She bit back the pain as she conjured up her sword. After having her grandfather had her beaten so many times under his care this sort of pain was nothing to her. She had been whipped so fiercely that her back was completely covered with the lashes. Luckily, only a few had scarred. Bael hadn't noticed them last night while alone together, which she was happy about. She did not like to relish about the scars. It was a memory that was too close to home.
With her sword back in her hands, she charged her grandfather, slicing the blade through the air. It whooshed down towards Ares, but he slammed his power into her, sending a bolt through her sword and caused her to slow her movements. The lick of electricity made the bite wounds sear with pain. Luckily, she had some of Ares in her, so the bolt might have been enough to cause her body to jerk and wounds burn, but it didn’t do much to her. If anything it had her grandfather frowning. He had not expected her to be almost immune to his powers.
She couldn’t help to smile at him. It was a rather evil looking smile with the intent to kill. “Yes, grandfather, you might want to reconsider the enemy you are making.” Her blue eyes turned hard as stone. She wanted to hurt him so badly, but for now she was worried about Bael. What had transpired in her absence?
“Bael?” She spoke quickly, trying to get his attention. Her sword still out she moved closely to his side and reached with her free hand for the man that she had become so close to recently. She was ready to get out of there, and she needed to do so before she found out what had transpired because she would rain hell on them or try to.

How the demon despised the gods! After all he had struggled to be free, to not be a soldier of another’s whims, he was back right where he had started. But what was the option, to lose Xesa? No, that wasn’t acceptable. She was being punished for being with him, which was obvious that most of the gods and goddesses despised. He was a demon, filthy and unclean, not worth of standing amongst them.
And he couldn’t think of anything else than screw those bastards, the only one he cared for was the blonde amazon.
And that was the only reason he was now in debt with the lord of the underworld. The demon wanted with every fiber of his being to crush Hades, break every bone in his body. But he was honor bound now. And he had a hunch Xesa wouldn’t be so pleased…but like hell he was giving his firstborn to this s.o.b.
When the blonde amazon returned, he released his grasp on Hades and turned to her. But when he saw the blood and bite marks on her skin, his temper flared even higher. He was weak from Ares’ attack however and reacted too slowly, unable to prevent the god from lashing out his power at her. But when he reached him, he summoned all the strength left in him to lash out his fist at Ares’ face, making him fall to the floor with a heavy thud.
Moving them to Xesa, the demon wrapped his arms around her with a protective stance. He was ready to collapse, but he would never allow himself to show any sign of weakness to the bastards and held on by sheer willpower.
“Let’s go, there is nothing worth of you in this place.”
