Bella held the flash light tightly as she moved through the cemetery. There had been a lot of talks of weird occurrences around the place, so Bella thought she would check it out. She of course did not like to go to cemeteries, because it was way too easy for one's minds to play tricks on them, especially in a cemetery.
However, something drew her to the place. Not to mention she had been having strange dreams. Bella found a nice open spot and sat out a blanket. At first she would sit quietly and see if anything were to happened. It also helped her distinguish what noises were normal and were not.
Bella dug through her bag and pulled out a small video camera. Once she turned it one, she turned it towards her. "Okay this is Isabella McKinney. Date July 25th, 2010, I am at cemetery where people had said occurrences has been happening. So far I haven't seen anything out of the ordinary." Bella turned the camera and began filimg the darkness around her.
Any other person would be afraid to sit in a cemetery alone. Bella however, has done this thing many times before. She was used to the animal noises and other things that would play with one's imagination, and she was starting to think that was what was lurking in this certain cemetery- someones imagination.

Eryle had moved from cemetery to park to ten other locations and finally back to a cemetery and back again. He had settled this time, specifically trying to keep the effect of his resonance on the surroundings under check, and he'd thought he had, but he sometimes underestimated his aura, or rather, knowing him, he overestimated his ability to suppress it.
Still, with his familiar...damnit, he was referring to it as that even internally now....with the smoke mephit gone, he had to keep an eye on things by himself. Which meant prowling about the area in his demonic form every once in a while; a thick, moving shadow that occasionally had a couple of brighter orbs as focal points for supernatural level of sight. Which was why one tended to get the 'eyes in the bushes' feeling when he did so.
How odd it was to come across a mortal there, just waiting on a blanket. The half-demon moved closer to her, causing a sort of ripple int he darkness as hi shadowy form moved, and he listened to her. Damn it....yet another investigator following his tracks. But she seemed considerably more...normal.
Still, he couldn't risk her finding anything. Suddenly, the camera's shadow would thicken, enveloping it and pulling it to the ground, not breaking it, but turning it off and making it impossible to get to its lens or microphone even if one found a way to run it back on; they were covered in inky darkness.
And then, he made his only flashy appearance, the demonic form, the thick shadow, starting to peel off the ground and whirling around itself as it formed the shape of him next to her, finally peeling back to reveal him in his more natural human form.
He spoke, his voice naturally dark and yet still enticing, a natural bit of magic making it carry more appeal and at the same time offers a calming effect, hopefully stopping her from responding in a scared, frantic manner at the sudden appearance and voice.
"Yes, everything is quite ordinary around here, my dear. Best off just leaving, I would think", he says, as if that would actually carry through to her considering how he made himself known. There was a dark smirk on his face as he looked to her, awaiting her response.

Bella sat the camera beside her pointed out towards the tombstones in front. She pulled out her digital camera and began taking pictures. Suddenly she began to feel odd- as if she wasn't alone. Bella sat the digital camera and picked up the video one.
The camera was acting odd, it began to flash on and off as if there were some electrical surge or something. Bella tapped the camera a bit and stood up. She knew something was there and it was casing her equipment to act all haywire. She also had a feeling that whatever was with her in the cemetery wasn't just an ordinary ghost. The tell tale signs were not there- most importantly the cold air.
However the equipment acting up was a sign of a supernatural force. A force that could be more dangerous than ghost. Bella's eyes focused on the little screen before her when the thing finally went black. The battery was dead, which was odd considering she had just charged the thing before leaving. There was something there for sure, and it was using all the energy around her to make itself known.
Suddenly a black smoke appeared around her. Bella did not panic, instead she stood and and grabbed her digital camera and began taking pictures. It was risky, especially if the black smoke was the supernatural force she suspected was there. She turned in every direction taking picture after picture. Finally she turned to see a man standing there in her view finder, this time she jumped. She didn't expect to see anyone else there.
When he gave his request Bella nodded and bent down, digging through her bag. Must have been someone that worked there, or perhaps just a cop passing through or something. She didn't know of any undertakers t dressing like that.
Finally she found what she was looking for and stood up holding it out to the officer, at least that is what she thought. "Oh, it's okay for me to be here. I was actually asked by the groundskeeper himself." She grinned. "I had him sign this paper just in case. something like this happened."
She stood and waited for the officer to check out her paper. She was eager to get back to work, whatever that smoke was- it fascinated her and she wanted to check it out more. "So if everything is legit, I really would like to get back to work. There is only a few hours left till daylight." She said with a smile.

He gave her a somewhat confused look, incredulous even, at her response. Obviously she hadn't been paying much attention since he'd basically formed right in front of her. Then again mortals were like that, they tended to fill their mind with a rational explanation. In her mind he likely just snuck up on her.
"I think you misunderstood, my dear", he says with a smirk, a nearly malevolent intonation to his words as his hand raised.
A moment later, dark wisps emanated form his fingertips, swirling around a moment and then rearing back like snakes about to strike. Finally, they launch forward, as if about to strike the poor girl, end her life right then and there to end the meddling.
Instead, however, the camera was hit, shattering from the burst of dark energy. Truly it was annoying how many people lately had taken it amongst themselves to try filming the remnants of his energy that lingered in the places he tried settling for any period of time.
"You see...I am very well aware of what's going on here. And the concept of such things being photographed and recording is not something that I wish to allow", he says, frowning a bit as he eyes her darkly, not seeming happy with her, based on the coldness behind his eyes.
He let his hand fall back to his side, and he didn't take his eyes off of her at all, just watching her and seeing how she'd respond. Of course, if she handled it correctly perhaps he'd calm down a bit.

Bella stood there staring at the man, wondering why had hadn't taken her paper yet. 'Oh great, another cop on a power trip.' She thought to herself. She was puzzled, and it seemed that she wasn't the only one. She stared at the- what she thought was an officer. He himself had a puzzled look on his face, of course she could not for the life of her understand.
She soon found out however, as the man before her expression changed. Bella stepped back, something was right- she really hated having bad feelings like that. Then as if on cue, dark wisps appeared from the man's hand. Bella was more shocked than afraid; Really, she didn't know what to think. She did know that whatever was coming at her could not be good. She backed away almost stumbling away from the dark wisps as they struck at her. Her eyes closed in anticipation of something bad about to happen, but instead her camera was hit.
Bella jumped as the camera exploded before her. Her eyes drifted up to the man, or whatever he was. Most would be afraid, but Bella seemed fascinated. She had never seen anything like this, yes she had seen plenty of ghosts- real ghosts. This guy however, was not a ghost. Bella had her suspicions, but still she could not believe that it could be true- or could it?
A slight grin appeared as she stared down at the camera. Her grin soon faded as she stared up at the being before her. He did not look so amused, and she could -almost- understand why. Most ghosts did not like to be disturbed- especially the angry spirits. One had to be a professional in order to come out alive after meeting one of these spirits.
Her head lowered as she tried to think of something to say. She didn't want to anger this being anymore than she already had. "I apologize, I didn't mean any harm. Some people were just afraid and wanted some peace of mind. Well I guess I can cross that off the list." She chuckled nervously.
Not really knowing what this being was; she was having a hard time figuring out what to say. Her head was saying demon, but that couldn't be true? At least not a flesh in blood human. Unless of course the body was possessed, but that was all just speculation. She had dealt with many demons, and the things were not fun beings to deal with. If this guy was a truly a demon, then she would have to be very careful.
Her mind was telling her to run away, but she could not. She was very fascinated, the supernatural and the un-explained always had fascinated her. "It's not just the peace of mind, I admit- it was also to peak my curiosity. But I promise all the recordings were just solely meant for that- I had not intentions of exploiting the footage." She really hated the self-proclaimed ghost hunters. People that would call themselves professionals, and then exploit the ghosts or haunted places that they were investigating. Half the time, the footage that they shown were not even real. Sometimes Bella wished a ghost would -really- scratch the hell out of one of those people- She knew if she were a ghost, she would.

He could feel fear there when the realization hit. But there was something else there. Wonder, almost. She obviously was scared, but at the same time seemed to be in awe because of him. Or at least fascinated by the unknown, that sort of thing. That could turn out to be either a problem or a boon, depending on her exact mindset. He'd have to see what this one was like.
"You know, I always felt that more intelligent sorts, upon dealing with a supposed haunting or scary happenstance, tend to leave instead of poking their noise into it", he begins to say, slowly walking towards her, the shadows stirring as he moved and parting as if a viscous fluid.
"But then again, your insatiable curiosity couldn't be met, and the place would be lost, despite common sense telling one that they should want to lose it", he continues, now right in front of her and staring into her eyes, bringing a hand up to lightly cup her chin.
He remained silent for a short time before starting to talk again, letting the natural chill he gave off affect her for a bit, "And tell me why I should believe you, my dear. Why I shouldn't just end you here and now, so there's no chance of anyone investigating further? After all, if they found a deceased individual that had been investigating, well, most would be adverse to trying the same, don't you think?", he asks, a dark grin crossing his features as his eyes started to glow a deep red, his grip on her chin tightening a bit.
Of course, unless she blatantly caused trouble, he had no qualms about harming her, but she was a foolish mortal individual, and scaring her seemed like a good way to amuse himself and perhaps make her feel a bit foolish. Intimidation was where he generally stopped himself, though.
"After all, you're dealing with a hybrid demon and warlock here. Why would I allow any chance of my activities beign compromised?", he asks, leaning closer and now speaking in a foreboding whisper, eyes still glowing dark red and seemign to pierce right into her soul.
